Tristan's backstory is revealed in this issue. Like Max, he spontaneously came into his powers after suffering an intense, traumatic moment in time. I'm on the fence about how that makes me feel. It was one thing to give Max time-traveling powers; it was all about her, it was her story. Now that other people gain powers spontaneously, which manifest in other ways, it's starting to feel more like The X-men and less like Life is Strange. What I found most interesting in this issue was that the trio of girls goes to a fancy party with the rich kids in L.A. They get new outfits and Rachel Amber looks killer. I loved it! ... show more
