Was delighted to see that the stem did not have to be attached to the bowl of the glass. The gold sparkles really made for a beautiful touch. Item was well protected in packaging to help avoid breakage.

It's my own fault for not better reading the listing title and description, but when I see the term "glasses", I expect glass! These are obviously plastic. I would have rated them higher as it's my own fault as a consumer for not paying better attention to the listing but they have flaws that merit the lower rating; as others have said you can find better looking plastic ware. They come close to looking like the real thing but they fall short. The ones I received are one solid piece though, which had me confused when looking at others reviews that stated the bottoms come off easily. These are nothing if not perfectly functional.

It's possible some would prefer the more traditional shallow martini glass shape, but personally the deeper glass holds more liquid, which is a win-win for everyone.
