I replaced two 26” monitors that we’re mounted on a single stand with this 38” curved unit. I feel like I have more space to work with now than before. Really like not having two screens but one large gently curved screen. Shipping was estimated at two weeks, but came in just a couple days be FedEx. Easy to set up and connect with my USB-C S monitor has built in speakers which are nice but I use a Jabra conference speaker as I have many conference calls on Zoom, etc. and need a good mic as well as a speaker. The monitor doesn’t come with a mic or camera. But connecting my Japra speaker and HP webcam worked just fine. I also attached a powered USB hub to it as I have several external hard drives. Mostly I. use it for office work which is great. But I also do a good bit of video editing and that’s where it really shine so. If you’re a gamer (I’m not) there is a setting for extra brightness, etc. looks great for my uses. The back is white, which I was not expecting, but it looks find.     • Size is fantastic, very good picture quality, descent for games too.
Amazing size, perfect for productivity. The 34 inches models just felt too small. The 38 is right on. The curve is perfect, not too curved which can skew images too much, it's just right. Picture quality is quite nice, but my laptop 4k screen has better colors and clarity. The Matte screen doesn't glare, but it not as crisp as gloss of course. Couple of cons: for gaming, it's fine. Not the fastest monitor for sure, but it is generally very hard to push any more than 75Hz at this resolution even with 2080ti. The fact that it is 3840 by 1600 actually makes it a bit easier to drive at 4k and 75Hz is within reach in many games with a single high end GPU. A newer model with 144Hz is coming out later this year, I suspect it will be quite more expensive and will need two 2080Ti to actually run it, which makes the whole setup quite pricey right now. I did notice some motion Blur. But it's not a gaming display. Another con - the picture by picture cannot support the display port and the usb-c together. Instead one of the inputs must be hdmi. Which is a bummer since desktops with good cards use display port for higher refresh rate and modern laptops use usb-c. Overall, I think it's the best option at the price point and size. It's very immersive. The somewhat lacking pure gaming performance to me is ok, because the size is so much nicer. I prefer this over the 34inch models that have higher gaming response qualities. I spend more of the time working on this beast and less time gaming, and I am not into competitive gaming. ... show more

    • 38 INCH ULTRAWIDE IS THE PERFECT SIZE MONITOR
The 38BK is exactly the same as the 38WK except the BK gets a 3 yr warranty vs 1 year. CES 2020 produced the 38WN due in Q3ish. HDR600 and overallbetter specs but also higher price.
