  • Stunning widescreen display for work, not gaming
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
I love using this monitor for work and being able to have several different windows open and visible at once. This replaced 2 27" monitors. I couldn't stand not being able to look directly ahead and would need to turn my head left or right throughout the day causing neck strain. The 5k picture quality is very sharp. The colors look fantastic. I don't use the grid locking software all that much, nor do I use the software to use your peripherals between two devices. I use a KVM switch instead. My only complaint is that switching between inputs can be a bit of a pain. I would have loved if the monitor auto selected the input based on active status, or if there were a remote control included to select inputs. Other than that, this is a great monitor. A bit pricey but really stunning and has helped my productivity. ... show more

  • LG 49WL95C-WE 32:9 UltraWide Monitor 49"
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
I have this monitor for about two weeks now. I must say, I love it. It fit perfect on my desk, the quality is good, no dead pixels, no complaints whatsoever. I'm using the USB Type C connection with my HP Laptop, and everything looks amazingly beautiful in this massive screen. I do not use it for gaming so I can't really comment on those specifics, nor have I tried the dual inputs yet (i.e. a second PC). I overall love it. Good for Trading. ... show more

  • Exceeded Expectations
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
Disclaimer: I’m not a hardcore gamer. I am a creative type that needs a lot of viewing space. Coding with a single 23” monitor was amateur hour compared to this. This is a breath of fresh air. Be prepared to change your workflow and adjust to such a huge viewing space. Per other’s reviews, I also bought a tall desk mounting arm for my 23” and mounted it directly above for screensharing at a normal resolution. Didn’t think I’d need a 2nd display up top, but has been nice for playing media while not disrupting primary workspaces. A monitor along side of this Ultrawide will be too far away to be of much use! Like another reviewer said: “just buy this”. It’s a hefty purchase, but for as much time as you spend at your working display, shouldn’t it be really awesome? Treat yoself…you deserve it…won’t be disappointed. Note: be careful handling when removing from box. Directions explicitly say not to pinch screen. It’s so large it can be challenging setting it up while only holding the edges (it’s very heavy thus the challenge). Additional note: getting max resolution from 2017 Macbook Pro. But 2014 model via HDMI or mini Display port is not giving me max resolution. Note of caution for older apple users. I am trading in my old machine for a Mini so this will be no big deal, but do a little more research if all you have is mini display ports. Maybe I need a better cable also, despite the HDMI did say it was good up to 8K. I don’t hinder my rating here as this monitor is cutting edge and I wouldn’t exactly expect my 2014 laptop to get max output. Will update this review per any issues and additional experience. ... show more

  • ALMOST hits the five star
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
I plan to update my review as I use it throughout the year. update: 1st week. the monitor is beautiful works well with the imac and the MacBook pro m1 2020. Iʻve been using this monitor none stop for research, school, coding, and video editing. I absolutely love this monitor. BUT iʻve notice that the monitor seems to flicker every so often. I havenʻ figure out what triggers this flicker. itʻs not trastic where the whole computer turns black, it dims the lighting noticeably. iʻll check the settings, so there shouldnʻt be any reason. I notice the flicker more on cinema settings. if it wasnʻt for the flicker, I would give this monitor five stars. ... show more

  • A Pure Beast for any Multimedia Post Production Artist
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
Not for gaming for those looking for gaming monitors. You can hook up your PlayStation/Xbox etc but the image will be stretched if you choose to play it in ultra wide, you can change it to a 4:3 ratio and it looks great but you will have black borders on the sides. PC games might be different, I haven’t tested them, I will update this review Other then that, editing or doing any kind of computer work on this monitor is an absolute beast. ... show more

  • Goes black randomly - no fix
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
This is generally a good large-screen monitor. I have it connected to my Mac Mini via USB-C. The real kicker is that it randomly goes black for 6-10 seconds every 30 minutes or so. This is very frustrating and annoying. I have tried swapping out cables and searched for answers to this problem, but there doesn't appear to be an apparent remedy. ... show more

  • great monitor
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
i have a pc and a mac, and wanted monitor that worked for both. this does a great job of that. have half of screen working for each. and can easily split and slice and dice more, and control which uses sound. its a great "flexible" monitor to adjust to how want to use. its so great, thinking of getting another to put on top of the current one. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY - Very Poor quality product
Style: UltraWide 49WL95C-WE Set: 60 Hz
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT... I very rarely complain, but the experience I have had with this product has sent me over the edge... I bought this product in September and it is very, very poor quality. Not only is Its a really cheap plasticy monitor, but its technically cheap too - the screen goes black for 10 seconds around 5-6 times a day when used in high resolution mode. Its incredibly frustrating ! Trying to get the product replaced is impossible and they refuse to issue a refund (stating its LG policy). I've been on to customer service around five to six times, and each time they give you the run around. For example, after literally pulling teeth, I insisted to have a technician come to my home to look at the issue and they gave me a number of a local LG approved technical facility to test the product and told me to call them to have someone come to the house to look at the problem. I called them, left a message and they never called back. When I got back on to customer service the only option they gave me was to send it to their repair facility, leaving me without a monitor for 10 days - they will not provide a loner during the repair period. In addition, when I agreed to send it they stated that if its is damaged upon receipt, then I am fully responsible for the cost of the monitor and the repair... so if UPS or FedEx damage it in transit, its on me (NICE !). This is a bad company with a very, very poor product. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, its garbage ! ... show more
