This ultrawide monitor has received glowing reviews for its impressive size, crisp and smooth display, and versatility in enhancing work efficiency and gaming experience. Users have praised its stunning display quality, vibrant colors, and the convenience of having ample screen real estate without occupying multiple ports. While the monitor is celebrated for its gaming performance and multitasking capabilities, some have noted it might not be optimal for work environments requiring reading small text due to its pixel density.

Pros

  • 🖥 Huge, ultrawide display enhances work efficiency and gaming immersion
  • 🌈 Crisp, vibrant display with multiple settings and great color accuracy
  • 🔌 Ample connectivity options and easy cable management
  • 🕹 Excellent for gaming with fast response time and stunning 4K quality
  • 🚀 Versatile for multitasking, allowing for seamless web browsing, streaming, and gaming

Cons

  • 📏 Large stand may not fit smaller desks without adjustments
  • 🔍 Text readability may be an issue for work-related tasks involving small fonts

Should I Buy It?

If you prioritize a large, high-quality display for gaming, multitasking, or a general efficiency boost in your digital tasks, this monitor is a great investment. However, if your work heavily involves dealing with small text, you might want to consider options with better pixel density for readability. Overall, for most users looking for an upgrade in screen size and quality, this monitor comes highly recommended.

  • Best screen I have tested and great for folks using Mac+CPU
Awesome product. I use with two different laptops connected (macbook & work Dell). Great picture quality. I would recommend.

  • Much better than dual 24”!
I grew tired of the dual setup of 24” monitors. I felt like there was a lot of wasted space and I couldn’t really work with 3 separate windows very efficiently, so I wanted something bigger. A 49” was just a hair too big for me to fit with my Klipsch bookshelf speakers on my desk, so I landed on this 45” unit. This model was on sale vs the cheaper version (same picture quality) so I went with this, otherwise I just would have bought that one. It works exactly as I expected, plenty of room to have 3 windows open with almost full view of each. Colors are great, contrast is great, viewing angles are great, and the price wasn’t too bad. I would suggest you just go with a 49” if you have the space though. The price is maybe $100 more and at this price point just go for it. ... show more

  • 10/10 Perfection. Wish I had 2 of them.
Unbelievable. I love this monitor so much. I never write reviews, ever. I needed to for this. Amazing for work productivity and even better for gaming. Love the double input feature. Thank you LG for another perfect product. Came quick and box was in perfect condition. Thank you!

  • Ultrawide monitor with solid video quality and some nice features
Purchased this to replace my two 24” monitors. It took a few days to get used to it but I do believe it’s easier on the eyes due to the curve. Nice features and really good picture quality. The only thing worth mentioning is due to aspect ratio, certain games look horrible until you apply the required fix/hack to adjust the picture. Watching things like Netflix causes two large black bars on the sides of the picture. Overall I’m happy with my purchase but wish it the height of the screen was larger to offset the huge aspect ratio better. ... show more

  • Excellent for productivity and office
great product - bought used like new - it was and so far so good- more suggested for office work that involves reading - Oled are much better for picture quality but not great for reading or doing work like this one

  • Looking through a screen...
The monitor is decent for the price but the reason I sent it back was because I felt like I was looking through a screen. I thought maybe there was a film on it, nope. Did I have HDR on/off, yep, tried both ways. It was leading to a not crisp picture for me. When I played StarCraft (don't judge me), the picture seemed fine. I didn't love the 1440 resolution, I wish it was a bit taller. It was relatively light. You can mount it or use the stand. For the price, decent, but my eyes just couldn't handle that the picture wasn't crisp on my PC or Mac and that it felt like I was looking through a screen. It was like a double screen effect. ... show more

  • Took me two years to find one I like!!!!
Two yers ago when I bought my new Mac I loved it and still do!! I just wanted more screen Real estate as my brother. :-) I looked and looked for two year!! I wanted something that could keep up with the specs of my Mac when it comes to the refresh rate. My Mac runs at 120HZ the monitor can run up to 200HZ my main computer can support it up to 144HZ and it is a 2021. Even my brother who is more picky than me said 144HZ is plenty. When it comes to computers I would say he's right. I love how light is was when lifting it. It only took a few to set up! I know the price tag was definitely steep, but it literally came with every type of connection in the box that you may need depending on your current set up to use it as a secondary monitor or even your main monitor. I myself needed a USB – C connector, and it came right in the box and the cord was actually a fair decent length not like those short ones that have come in other items that I have purchased in the past. It was literally plug-in and play. You can't beat that! If you're anything like me, and use the, type to text make sure you change the settings back to using the built in mic. That would have been a dealbreaker for me if the computer wouldn't have been able to pick up my dictation of having the monitor connected. Luckily, it was an easy fix. You might have to restart your computer. Once you change the settings only had this thing for two full days, and I do not regret it, you can see the photos. It is a bit of a space hog but I do have a wall coming for it later today. ... show more

  • Exceeds Expectations!
Had to retire my Apple Thunderbolt display after 12+ years. And Chose this as my replacement. Mostly for Development work. But a bit of gaming. After all the reviews, I was concerned about the height, curve and possible dead pixels. But all concerns were non-existent. This monitor is amazing. The curve is very slight and perfect for my desk and viewing angle. The height is a tiny bit smaller than my thunderbolt display, but the vertical resolution is the same and I barely notice. For database and development work it, this is a dream. The picture is crisp and I can fit 3 nice sized windows on the screen with plenty of room. There are 2 negatives, but nothing really to do with the monitor, just issues I didn't think about. 1) no camera so I had to buy a webcam to sit on top and 2) on video calls, I can no longer share my entire screen, because my monitor is to large. I have to share an individual window. Oh and now my wife is jealous and wants one. Overall, I could not be more pleased. ... show more
