This LG monitor has met or exceeded all my expectations. There are not any professional reviews, but I took a chance on it. Good color, more than bright enough for my darkish room. The stand is sturdy and stronger than I expected. Speakers probably aren't great, but I never planned on using them anyway. 300hz and Freesync for $266 is a great deal. My only negative might be the included DP cable. The monitor would not turn on with it, I thought it was DOA. I tried the DP cable from my old monitor, and it worked. Great value for a great monitor. Caught this at 50% off and gambled on international shipping. Even with customs getting their hands in and inspecting it still arrived fully functional (way to go LG). Great performance and features, nice brightness, pretty good panel, haven't done any blurriness tests but haven't noticed any issues in a week of watching videos coding and gaming. Real good connectivity, comes with HDMI and DP cables (nice) and does include speakers, although the sound quality can be better (a lot better, like it sounds worse than some old stereo speakers I got from 15+ years ago) it's still nice to have if you don't wanna wear your headsets all day. Pretty satisfied, will update if anything happens ... show more

Amazing monitor from Lg, great picture quality with crisp colors and nice blacks just make sure to adjust the sleep mode in the energy saving setting since it’s a little aggressive and will make the screen go black in a few minutes of inactivity. Bought during Black Friday sale and for 269.00 this monitor provides everything you need for modern gaming and multitasking (if not picking this one up you might as well go for 4K). Good connectivity with not only display port but hdmi 2.1 as well for those playing on console or even for dual pc/console setups also this product comes with built-in speakers which are not the best in sound quality but is a nice addition to have. 1440p at a maximum of 300 hz makes this monitor a no brainer definitely recommend this product.     • Frustrating UI, terrible documentation, not worth the hassle

I really wanted to like this monitor, but the user experience has been so bad that I regret the purchase. The on‑screen menu system is a mess. Simple things like changing brightness and picture settings are buried behind an unintuitive “game bar” overlay with cryptic icons and labels that don’t match the user manual at all. The manual describes a clear hierarchy (Game Mode, Game Adjust, Picture Adjust, etc.), but what actually appears on the screen is a completely different UI with almost none of those labels exposed. Navigating it feels like trial and error every single time. Even basic adjustments take far too many steps, and half the time it’s not obvious whether you’re in a quick overlay or the real settings menu. For a premium gaming/productivity monitor, this is inexcusable. I’ve spent more time fighting the OSD than actually enjoying the screen. Picture quality itself is just okay-- not impressive for the price, especially ionce you factor in how hard (in our case, impossible) it is to get out of the washed‑out factory state and into a usable configuration. At this point, I’d rather buy something with slightly worse specs and a sane menu system. If you value your time or you’re not prepared to wrestle with a confusing, poorly documented interface, I would not recommend this monitor. ... show more

What not to love? 1440p, 27 inch, 300Hz, G-sync/Freesync, nice colors. If you're looking for a great monitor that's not as expensive as an OLED, this one is so freaking amazing! An amazing value overall.

This monitor has a pretty nice overall build quality, and the stand is solid—though a bit stiff—but the whole unit is quite lightweight. The USB ports are a great addition, but the speakers are terrible; they sound like a Nokia phone from the early 2000s. The brightness uniformity is also not very good. Overall, if it were priced at $199, I’d consider it a great deal. But $266 on Black Friday? That’s definitely not a very budget-friendly choice. ... show more
