Crisp Image Quality: The Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display of this monitor is truly exceptional. Colors are vibrant, details are sharp, and the contrast is well-balanced. Whether you're gaming or watching multimedia content, the visuals are stunningly immersive. Lightweight Design: The monitor's lightweight build is a huge advantage. It's incredibly easy to move around and adjust to your preferred viewing position. The slim bezels contribute to a sleek and modern look, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. VESA Compatibility: The inclusion of VESA compatibility is a noteworthy feature. It allows for easy mounting on various VESA-compatible stands or monitor arms, giving you the flexibility to create your ideal gaming setup. • Perfect for the price
Style: Tilt
I was looking for a cheap monitor I could use with my Xbox Series S and after much research, I believe this was the best I could do without spending more than 200 bucks. It handles all my games well, refresh rate does fine. Honestly the 1080p doesn’t bother me that much and the price difference for 4k wasn’t worth it to me. Handles dark areas and shadows better than I expected given the IPS screen. At the end of the day, I’m not a hardcore gamer and this monitor serves all my needs. I have had it for a few months now and no problems. There are no speakers but I would imagine most people use headsets nowadays for gaming…. If you’re looking for a cheap reliable gaming monitor and don’t mind the 1080, I recommend. ... show more

I'm going to get a little technical here, but I'll try to be brief: First off, this is an excellent budget monitor with good to great performance in all regards. Motion handling/blur are as close to perfect as I've personally witnessed with no visible smearing at any part of the color spectrum that my eyes have noticed. My particular panel arrived with no dead pixels and just one patch of backlight bleed in the upper right - it's only visible in very dark scenes. Quite good for a budget IPS monitor. Color accuracy out of the box was a touch overly green and red. sRGB color accuracy is nearly perfect to my naked eye after minimal calibration and I'm confident that I'll be able to dial in perfect settings when I have more time. I've read that contrast with this monitor can be a bit poor, even for an IPS panel. This has not been my experience - While obviously not perfect, blacks are far deeper than I would have expected from a budget IPS panel. Contrast performance is worse in the dark grey and grey-black range with those colors looking more samey than the rest of the spectrum, but only if you're really looking for it. Your eyes should adapt quickly. The HDR mode is a joke. It technically accepts an HDR signal but you'll struggle to spot the difference. If you really want HDR on a budget, look for a high-quality VA panel instead as they can come relatively close to approximating the effect of true local dimming. Input latency is a non-issue, feeling a bit faster than my 32 inch Dell VA panel but a bit slower than my old Viewsonic XG2402 - one of the last great TN panels with blisteringly low input lag. All in all, extremely fast. Ghosting/overshoot are totally invisible on the Fast overdrive setting across most of the refresh range, though I will say that I noticed a hint of overshoot in the 60 FPS locked title Pizza Tower. Even this was minimal enough that I stopped noticing it after a while. Try lowering overdrive to normal if this bothers you and you expect to play around 60 FPS or lower. Finally, I will recommend that you shell out the extra cash for the stand if you have about one foot of side-to-side space. It's a bit rigid when using the pivot feature but keeps wobbling to a minimum. In conclusion: If you're looking for a good 24 inch, IPS 1080p monitor with a high refresh rate, you can buy this one with confidence. ... show more

  • just what i wanted. only 1 thing - the power supply form factor is not practical
Style: Tilt & Height Adj
i was looking for an upgrade and eventually settled on this instead of a 4k. the picture comparison test against my actual 4k laptop was comparable and i know i made an excellent decision in terms of price (amazon day) and picture quality. sadly it took like 2 weeks to ship but i waited, it was on sale for 25% than the current reduced price my only gripe is the freakin power brick. and this is an LG thing all around, bc i have another monitor that's from them. i don't know why they don't use IC cables. there's probably a reason, but it doesn't matter bc 1) the bricks take up valuable plug in space on a power strip or wall, and 2) the chord is thin, dinky and short. ugh i had to buy an extension chord! ... show more

  • It's the perfect 1080p monitor!
Style: Tilt
I've had the famouse ASUS VG248QE for almost a decade and since this is a TN panel, there's no ghosting at all amd very fast! BUT switching to this was the best decision. I played on different monitors and noticed a lot of ghosting and slight lag but with this LG Ultragear, there's barely any. It's one of the fastest response time on IPS for sure. I love it!! :D ... show more
