  • Seats tubeless tires with ease
Style: Analog Gauge
Well made and sturdy, this pump is surprisingly heavy and does not wobble with use. The pump pressurizes the chamber easily, even above 160psi. My first attempt at seating a particularly tough tire was from 160psi. When that didn't work, I retried at 200 and the tire snapped into place easily. My previous setup, a standard floor pump and 1L HP bottle, topped out at 160psi; having the extra volume and higher pressure capability has reduced the frustration of seating tubeless tires to just another step in the process. The large gauge is easy to read and is stable, the handle comfortable, and the chuck works exactly as one might expect - easily and without drama. There is a pressure bleed button on the chuck so you can make fine adjustments without guesswork. The only change I'd make is the addition of a three-way valve and 2nd gauge with a lower range. With the valve open, the pump chamber's volume is in series with the tube or tire being inflated. A three way valve would allow a user to cut out the chamber for more normal tasks, and another gauge (say 0-50 PSI) allows more precise adjustment at the low end of the scale. ... show more

  • Great for the few times a year you seat tubeless... Rest of the year, waste of money.
Style: Analog Gauge
BEWARE! You can barely “TOP OFF” tires pre-ride. You have to pressurize the entire chamber in order to transfer the volume into the tire and guess what it need to be at. I ride mtn & road and wanted one pump to seat tubeless & to also top off tires. This one falls short. Let’s say you want to top-off road tires before a ride to 100psi. You have to pressurize the entire chamber (about 45 pumps from what I remember) to 120psi (which those last ten pumps are less then leisurely at that pressure), blow the air into tires and HOPE the chamber & tires normalize at 100psi. Let’s say you want to now pump your mtn tires to 27psi. You have to again: guess your current pressure, guess the necessary pressure for the chamber while pumping 25-35 times, blow the air, and let it normalize. THEN you get to start the process again if you guess wrong. I will totally give it to Lynze; Fantastic design, beautiful to look at, smooth operation, everything on the pump works amazing, makes seating tubeless super easy. It’s just, either I am not their intended audience or they missed the part where people want to use their expensive pump more than just a few times a year to seat tubeless. ... show more

  • Useless as a bike pump
Style: Analog Gauge
I bought this as a tubeless setup backup I could keep in my car. It works OK for road/gravel, not at all for MTB. I ended up just buying a 12v compressor. This is also completely useless as a daily bike pump. It has a wonky connector that is a pain to screw on. It is extremely well made though and looks great in the corner of my garage where I use it to prop up my bike box to keep it from getting wet. ... show more

  • Handy to set tires, but not as a regular pump
Style: Analog Gauge
This is a well-made pump, but don't expect to just connect the head to your valve step and pump. If you wish to use the Pressure Overdrive as a regular pump, you must first load the chamber, release it, and then pump. I can't give it 5-Stars for this reason. Otherwise, a really well-made pump. Sets all of my tubeless tires with ease and without the headache (and earache) of a compressor. ... show more

  • Re-Seats stubborn cleaned tubeless
Style: Analog Gauge
Set the pressure around 140 to 150. That stubborn cleaned tubeless wheel will seat/re-seat. Not a ideal pump for regular use. Get a regular pump.

  • Looks nice but doesn’t work very well
Style: Analog Gauge
Pressure gauge doesn’t work right and attachment is annoying at best

  • Not easy to use
Style: Analog Gauge
Valve connection is twist on and off ONLY, very challenging to get valve disconnected without loosing air and effectively making it hard to get your desired air amount in the tube regardless of the pumps other features

  • Solid well built pump
Style: Digital Gauge
I have no complaints about the construction or function of this pump. It's a tank. Mounts tubeless tires in a snap, functions as a normal pump when I need it one. Someday I will probably manage to break the plastic housing of the digital pressure gauge but parts are easily available.
