This crystal candle warmer is so beautiful to look at. It fills the room with a warm light and the control allows you to dim it (which puts out less heat and creates a nightlight effect) or brighten it (which heats the bulb pretty quickly. The one thing I am not fond of is that this candle warmer takes a different type of bulb. I'll be honest, I didn't look at the bulb type before grabbing this beauty and so it was surprising when a pronged lightbulb came with it. Installation of the bulb is rather unique: you put it in and twist to secure it in place. The light is simply beautiful with or without use as a candle warmer, but given that the bulb gets warm, I definitely don't think it should be used without a candle in place because the wood base will heat. As to that, I would have preferred that the base be made of something other than wood- maybe marble or ceramic. I really wish there had been a bulb option because it is fantastic just as a crystal lamp, but that option doesn't really exist with this bulb getting so warm. For clarity: this is a stunning crystal lamp and an excellent candle warmer. It does take a pronged bulb, not the traditional E26 base, but it comes with two bulbs to get you started. I love the look, style, and function of this candle warmer lamp and think it is simply beautiful. ... show more

This candle warmer has a beautiful look to it. It looks very elegant and classy. I believe it fits well with a color scheme that has gold or an elegant theme. The quality does seem decent. It does seem to take a just a little while to warm up in comparison with other candle warmers I have of near the same price value. It is not unbearable to the point it is intolerable.
