I purchased this product back in January of 2021 because someone grabbed my wife’s earphones out of her gym bag, despite her only being gone from the room for maybe 30 seconds. This is a nice gym in a nice area, but I guess criminals know that typically you get a better score from nicer areas… What is very ironic and is a bit of “just dessert” to the thief is that the headphones that they stole were PowerBeats Pro that can ONLY be charged with the case which they did NOT take. So, unless they have a case for these types of headphones they are going to be pretty useless once the charge wears off in 8 hours. Very disappointing to put it mildly. Immediately we decided that we weren’t going to make it easy for the next thief to steal from her again if she left her gym bag unattended for a very brief time. This bag can be used for many things. I can envision this being very handy when we go on vacation and for example are in the pool or at a beach. Not very practical to take your things with you while you’re in the water. Day to day my wife uses it to take her things to the gym. If you’re looking for a bag that is going to keep a very determined criminal out, then keep looking. At the risk of sounding facetious I would say look into a small safe. All kidding aside you have to balance security with portability. This bag could be defeated by someone with a sharp knife, but I believe that it is very useful for two things. The first being that it’s going to make it a lot harder to do a “grab and run” if you secure the bag closed around an immovable object — for example a fixed piece of gym equipment or whatever. Wouldn’t make it impossible, just more difficult. The 2nd thing that I am confident that it will do is to make a would be criminal think “Heck with this one — I’m going to grab the bag over there that is completely unsecured — I can grab that one and run and then at my leisure I can see what goodies I made off with”. I believe that this bag is a good balance between portability and security. As I said it will make it more difficult for a would be thief. Very few things in life, if anything, is 100% secure if the criminal is determined enough. It’s all a matter of how hard it would be to defeat the security system. In this case the thief is likely going to take a pass and steal the person’s bag next to this one that is completely unsecured. As I said my wife uses the heck out of this bag! She goes to the gym almost daily and uses it every day. Knowing her she is probably not overly gentle with it, either. After 8-9 months of heavy use there developed a very small issue with the Velcro stitching coming loose. I emailed the company (Lewis N. Clark) and asked for them to honor their 1-year warranty. They replied within a few hours and happily agreed to do so. No arguments, no hassle, just good old fashioned customer service and they NEVER even once used or tried to use the “convenient excuse” (i.e. the pandemic) as to why they couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to handle my request. I am beyond sick of hearing that. C’mon folks — we’re 18 months into this. The rest of us have had to do our best and continue to trudge along since day #1. My customers haven’t lowered their expectations of me or the company I work for one iota. It’s refreshing to see a company returning to the “old fashioned” way of doing business — cut the excuses and help the customer out. The title says it all — “Awesome product with amazing customer service!”.

We used this bag for cruise ports and loved it. The bag can hold quite a bit, keeps everything dry and locks to prevent opportunistic theft with open bags. I also like the highly visible orange color.

It works great for our purposes. We used it on our cruise for a beach day. Easily held 2 people’s attire and was able to secure the bag to a beach chair while we were in the water with no worries of it storing our phones and other things. We chose orange so it could be easily identified if something were to happen which was highly unlikely. Really liked the backpack design and how it secures on top. We didn’t need it but you can also add another locking device to secure the already locked bag to a chair, a post or something else.

The same clasp/claw broke again. When I first purchase it, I thought it’s a fluke that it broke so I bought a second one. But alas. It’s not a fluke as it broke again. The bag itself is good but the clasp/lock is not. So now I have 2 of these that are useless. Not sure if they have an extended warranty to replace it?

Idk, maybe it’s just me but this bag is a black hole. When you put things in it, to get to things at the bottom (and they all fall to the bottom), your entire arm needs to go in there to get them. To grab a pair of sunglasses, I have to stick my arm in there practically up to my arm pit (no, I am not a little person). The lock part is great and if you don’t mind sticking your arm all in, this would probably be GREAT for you. The Velcro is SUPER STRENGTH and that’s awesome. It was very handy while on vacation but I would’ve preferred it be either a lighter color so I could see what I was fishing around for, or shallower.

This is the second bag like this I have bought. I think the last one was from a different company but basically the same. We used that one several times and then it just quit locking. I bought this one as a replacement and so far so good. It’s not slash proof or anything but is good to put things in that you don’t want taken but not necessarily of value. We put beach towels, suntan lotions and other odd and end in this bag and valuables in a slash proof lockable bag. This bag is great to carry as it’s so lightweight. I bought the bright orange so we can easily see it at our chairs on the beach. Love this bag!
