I purchased this product back in January of 2021 because someone grabbed my wife’s earphones out of her gym bag, despite her only being gone from the room for maybe 30 seconds. This is a nice gym in a nice area, but I guess criminals know that typically you get a better score from nicer areas… What is very ironic and is a bit of “just dessert” to the thief is that the headphones that they stole were PowerBeats Pro that can ONLY be charged with the case which they did NOT take. So, unless they have a case for these types of headphones they are going to be pretty useless once the charge wears off in 8 hours. Very disappointing to put it mildly. Immediately we decided that we weren’t going to make it easy for the next thief to steal from her again if she left her gym bag unattended for a very brief time. This bag can be used for many things. I can envision this being very handy when we go on vacation and for example are in the pool or at a beach. Not very practical to take your things with you while you’re in the water. Day to day my wife uses it to take her things to the gym. If you’re looking for a bag that is going to keep a very determined criminal out, then keep looking. At the risk of sounding facetious I would say look into a small safe. All kidding aside you have to balance security with portability. This bag could be defeated by someone with a sharp knife, but I believe that it is very useful for two things. The first being that it’s going to make it a lot harder to do a “grab and run” if you secure the bag closed around an immovable object — for example a fixed piece of gym equipment or whatever. Wouldn’t make it impossible, just more difficult. The 2nd thing that I am confident that it will do is to make a would be criminal think “Heck with this one — I’m going to grab the bag over there that is completely unsecured — I can grab that one and run and then at my leisure I can see what goodies I made off with”. I believe that this bag is a good balance between portability and security. As I said it will make it more difficult for a would be thief. Very few things in life, if anything, is 100% secure if the criminal is determined enough. It’s all a matter of how hard it would be to defeat the security system. In this case the thief is likely going to take a pass and steal the person’s bag next to this one that is completely unsecured. As I said my wife uses the heck out of this bag! She goes to the gym almost daily and uses it every day. Knowing her she is probably not overly gentle with it, either. After 8-9 months of heavy use there developed a very small issue with the Velcro stitching coming loose. I emailed the company (Lewis N. Clark) and asked for them to honor their 1-year warranty. They replied within a few hours and happily agreed to do so. No arguments, no hassle, just good old fashioned customer service and they NEVER even once used or tried to use the “convenient excuse” (i.e. the pandemic) as to why they couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to handle my request. I am beyond sick of hearing that. C’mon folks — we’re 18 months into this. The rest of us have had to do our best and continue to trudge along since day #1. My customers haven’t lowered their expectations of me or the company I work for one iota. It’s refreshing to see a company returning to the “old fashioned” way of doing business — cut the excuses and help the customer out. The title says it all — “Awesome product with amazing customer service!”.

We used this bag for cruise ports and loved it. The bag can hold quite a bit, keeps everything dry and locks to prevent opportunistic theft with open bags. I also like the highly visible orange color.

This was junk, lock did not work. Returned it for an exchange which was also junk. The size and weight are perfect but the ability to use it with the crappy lock wasn't worth the price or hassle.

I loved the bag and it did us very well. Key thing to keep an eye out is that, while I was testing the bag in a bathtub and I pushed it down underneath, the top where you twist it came loose and started to flip out so water was able to seep in. So my suggestion is, Don't take into the water if you can and or just keep an eye on the top to make sure its tight. but other then that it was perfect! i loved that i could lock the bag and know its not going anywhere till i get back. I took on my honeymoon to Costa Rica and it was perfect.

I love this bag! It’s so great to lock up all of our stuff to a beach chair and know it’s going to be there when we get out of the water. It’s a good size as well. It is kind of a pain to lock it to some chairs and still see the combination lock piece but it’s worth the little aggravation for piece of mind.

We bought this for vacation for when we were at the beach and around the pool. Nothing like going on vacation and worried about your stuff being stolen. The lock worked great. We just put all our pool/beach stuff in, rolled the top down, locked and put on our back and hiked to the beach. Very comfortable on the shoulders, even with sunburn. I highly recommend if you are wanting to go to the pool or beach and take money or your phone
