I did not know what to expect when I ordered these jeans because I had a love/hate relationship with my Levi 314s that finally died after 10 or so years. The price for these new jeans was well worth the try and to my surprise, THESE JEANS ARE PERFECT! (I just ordered more!) I am 55 and do not like being overweight (I am working on weightloss) but these jeans really fit me well right now. I am 5'5" / 255 lbs and have always been stuck between Petite pants and jeans being too short and Average pants/jeans being too long (even at my appropriate weight). These jeans sit just right over my shoes and do not hit the floor. I wear my Ariat and Dansko clogs with jeans in winter. (Too hot here for jeans most of the year.) The straight leg fit is flattering and they sit at my belly button -- which is high waisted in my opinion even though they are labeled mid-rise. These jeans stay up! My 314s and I constantly battled as the waist would always slip and I'd yank them back up into place. These new jeans are soft but are still denim, look like denim, and the waist band is comfortable. I was unsure at first, but they came in and fit perfectly and length was good since I already knew the inseam length. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because they are a bit on the thinner size which I assume is to enable them to stretch a bit versus a tighter thicker material.

I never had a thigh gap and so I swapped out panties for boxers years ago. To my pleasant surprise, these jeans fit comfortably over them with no riding up or seams showing. They are true to size, the size chart was accurate for me, and with plenty of stretch to give my belly the room it needs for my IBS. It's very rare for me to find clothes that fit my sensory needs. I ordered another pair of thesenjeans in boot cut and they fit perfectly. But theses jeans-exactly the same sixe and length are wasy too small. I love the look and the soft material. I so wish they had fit.
