I bought this Levi's denim shirt in faded black to wear as a layer during a trip to England and Scotland. I was a little disappointed when I received it because it is not fitted. I didn't like the snaps. However, each time I wore it, I began to love it more. The shirt washes beautifully. It is very soft and comfortable. The snaps are effective and superior to buttons in keeping the shirt smooth, and they are easier to close and open. In addition, the shirt goes with almost everything, making it an optional layer for numerous outfits. I prefer to wear it as a shacket, open with a shirt underneath, rather than as a shirt. The denim is heavy for a denim shirt--more like jeans fabric than button-down shirt fabric. I put it in the washer and dryer and it did not shrink. It is true to size, with ample room to snap closed over the breast area.

This truely is my favorite shirt. It’s hard to find 100% cotton shirts these days, and I so appreciate Levi’s staying the course with natural fibers. The color and style of this shirt are gorgeous. It’s washed well so far with no fading, quality stitching. I wear it as a lightweight jacket as much as I can. I did purchase other colors but this one looks the best.

Ordered this Levi shirt because I needed a chambray shirt with pearl snaps for an event. It arrived quickly and fit great. When I ironed the shirt I noticed a distinct difference in color starting at the collar going down the back of two shade of denim. Fortunately it was directly in the center and looked intentional. I would have preferred it to be one color but needed it that night or possibly would have exchanged.

I usually wear a 3x, but Levis is notorious for making plus-size clothing that runs small. I honestly could have bought my usual size, but those snap buttons had me worried that they might gap or pop open, so I sized up. Pros-- very soft, VERY stretchy, and the color is deep blue. It is flattering; I am 5'6, and it sits at my natural waist. This denim shirt is not cheaply made. (I got one at Torrid a few weeks ago for double the price and far lower quality. ) Also, the shirt is great if you have larger arms. Cons-- the stitching is really pronounced, so it looks just a little narrow in the shoulders. It is fairly thick, so if you live in a warmer climate, you will probably get more use out of it in fall or winter. Overall, it is one of the nicest denim shirts that I have bought in a while. If you are a curvy woman of generous proportions, you will not regret this purchase.

I ordinarily wouldn't mind that this shirt is a second. However, I paid full price. The red Levi's tag was cut off and the yoke information was unreadable. The fit was fine.

I bought this in Black, Dark Denim and Bleached Denim. Love the Pearl Snap buttons. Made of high quality thick denim material. It does run a size small. I first ordered the medium. It fit but I felt it was a little tight in the chest. So I got a large. It fits perfect. I'm 5'2 135lbs 36C. I was it in cold water and dry on low. I do iron it. Great flattering denim shirt. It is a little spendy, but it is make of high quality material. So it's not going to fade, and shrink away.
