Update to review below: I’ve worn these to work twice. Honestly, they are pretty uncomfortable. They feel great when standing but feel uncomfortable while sitting. They are not too small. I may only wear these if going somewhere for a few hours but not all day. Sad. The pair I have is thick and only has 1% stretch. I guess we can’t have it all. :) I am on a constant hunt for the "perfect" jeans. I may have found them. This review is for the Jive Sound wash. (I also tried the Love in the Mist and Oxford Haze wash in the same style and returned those due to the fabric. Love in the Mist was too thin and stretchy. Oxford Haze didn't have any stretch at all and were very uncomfortable.) These jeans fit like a glove. I usually wear a 28 or 29 and bought these in a 29. If you are in between sizes, size up. I'm slightly curvy. If you are very curvy or very straight, they may not fit you as well. I love the fabric. Thick, perfect medium wash, only 1% stretch. I love the shape of the leg. Not too wide, not too skinny. I'm 5'7" and I like the length. Ankle length on me. I'm not sure if I've ever had a pair of jeans fit so well. And I do think they flatter the tush. I'm usually a bit self-conscious about my backside, but I think I'll flaunt it in these jeans. I'll update my review after wearing them for a while and after washing, if they don't hold up as well, stretch out, or shrink or something.

love these jeans! They are so comfy and make you look great. This is Jean material so not too much stretch and they run a bit small. I went up one size and they fit perfect. Easy wear, and washes great.

I loved the material. It is what Levi used to be like 30 years ago. Buttons were awesome. Only trouble I had was that it was a little too short. Fit was perfect.

I love the Levi’s wedgie straight jeans but the jeans I received were nothing like the ones in the picture. We’re so big, different colored, and weird fitting. Bummer!

I love the fit of these jeans, but if you have a big butt and small waist, size up. They are a completely straight leg jean, with no curviness through the waist or hips and the denim has no give to it. It’s is thicker and with no stretch so it’s feels different. I usually wear a 26 or 27 in Gap jeans and I ordered a 27 in these. The leg fits great but my butt feels like a sausage and there is a gap at the waist. The leg shape is very flattering and I want to love these jeans, but I can’t walk or sit.

This review is for the Cloud 9 colorway. The color of these pants are really pretty in person. However I'm really sad about the sizing. I first ordered a size 12/31 and when I put them on they really dug into the front crotch area. I then bought a size 14/32 but the crotch area is still too short! I know that these are the Wedgie style, but I expect it to dig in at the butt area, not the front crotch. I also have the Wedgie Skinny in a size 12/31 and it's comfortable and only digging in at the butt area and I still have crotch room. Also the length of these are short, they are above my ankle. If they made the length of the crotch a little longer these jeans would be perfect! Sadly I'm returning both sizes.

I tried these jeans after they were named best straight leg jeans in the New York Times Wirecutter product reviews. I love them for easy, day-to-day jeans. I had to size down for the right fit. My natural waist is 29, and, at first, I thought that size on the jeans was perfect. But the pair stretched out more than I’d hoped. They’re still wearable for a relaxed, looser fit, but I wanted to maintain more structure around the seat of the paints. The 28s were very tight to get on. I didn’t think I could button them up! After I squeezed them on and wore them ones, they loosened up and are now very comfortable to wear.
