  • Don't Give Up
OK, in my lifetime (I'm a young 63) I had given up hope of ever finding a pair of Levis that would fit me. I had one pair and they were boyfriend, 501's, but they were very loose, broken in and distressed and hit me low on the hip. I LOVED them. I gained weight in the last couple of years and I can't wear them as I did. Because I'm curvy and short (5'4", 23" waist, 43" hip at the widest, weight...somewhere around 150) my shape wasn't good for the seemingly straight 501's. So 501's were never in my future and I just gave up, especially when all jean brands were adding so much stretch that they may have been leggings. My all-time favorites were Gap 1969 but they also went off the deep end. I admit, I fell for a "news" article about a celebrity wearing these Levis but mostly the cost caught my eye. They were $44.99 at the time. Not even knowing where to start, I ordered 3 pairs, 30", 31" and 32". The first pair to arrive were the 31's. They went on just fine which can mean an uh-oh. I wore them around the house to see how they'd stretch. Unfortunately they stretched in a bad way. I absolutely hate when the rise is too long and petite sizing is best for me. A long rise can make a great fitting jean so bad if the crotch hang's down. What I loved about this jean was they hit at a great point around my hip bones but they did gap pretty badly at the waist. These are not low. Mid, I'd say. The length was too long for me as well. They went back. I got the 32" next. OK, these were nearly exactly like the boyfriend jeans I loved. They sunk low on the hip and were slouchy but in a good way. Because they were big all over, the crotch thing didn't bother me. As the day went on they stretched out a bit more. I can safely say that as time goes on, they will get so much softer and with a washing they go back to the original wear. I cut the hem off and want them to fray. I can also roll them up if I want to. I did not expect to find a replica of my boyfriend jeans...a happy surprise! Definitely keepers. I was a little worried about the 30". So much so that I almost cancelled the order. I'm so glad I didn't! Other than being too long, they seem to be a perfect fit. I wore them today and they stretched out to fit so well in the waist, hip and thigh. No gap at the back when I sit and the crotch stayed where it should. I did cut the hem as well. I was impatient. I didn't want to wait to get them hemmed. I'll see how they wash and decide. The denim is a good, quality thickness but not too much to make them stiff and hard to walk. I love that there is no stretch. I can't say how happy I am to have found them and now I have 2 looks for them. Of course, the price was awesome! ... show more

  • High quality & Classic, My favorite Levi’s!
I’m 5’8” and length is perfect! (Not cropped, not too long) The rise hits at the belly button so no need to unbutton when sitting for a long time. Iykyk. :) I love that they offer styles without holes/ distressing- a much classier look. As with all cotton jeans, they give in and loosen through the day so if you are in between sizes I would size down. They can accommodate a booty and still hug your waist while also having a bit of room in the thigh making them comfy & great for everyday wear. Purchasing a second pair in a smaller size for when I want a slightly more supported feel/ snatched look. ... show more

  • Best pair of jeans I own
I'm obsessed with these jeans, I probably wear them like 90% of the time. I ordered a size 27 and at the time I was around 140 lb, 5'5. Currently, the jeans are fairly large on me in the waist area but still super cute/baggy! I am now around size 130lb so if I were to repurchase, I would size down to a 26 or 25. The color is such a nice blue and goes so well with whichever color top you're wanting to wear. I honestly throw these jeans on when I am lounging around the house (weird, I know) but that it how comfy they are. 10/10 recommend!!! ... show more

  • Nice roomy fit. Great option for loose comfy jeans.
I'm 5'4" about 165 and wear a size 10-12/31-32" waist. I normally look for "curvy" jeans so the waist is small enough but the hips are large enough. I tried the Charlie Glow Up in a 32 on in store and those fit perfectly so I bought the Go Ahead in 32 online. Good quality, soft comfy fabric, straight leg, has a worn edges look. Reminds me of carpenter's jeans. Nice mid-rise, stopped about .5" below my belly button (finally not high-rise!). Inseam was a little long, but I'm short so that's normal. They were just too big though and I had to return. I will probably repurchase and size down when those are in stock/go on sale. Waist was loose and measured just about 37" and thigh was about 26.5". Took one star off for waist being so much larger than advertised. They will shrink a little in the wash, but reviews mention they stretch during the day too. Fit seems to vary by color. ... show more

  • Great fit and look
I was looking for a more relaxed fit, rather than a skinny jean and these fit the bill. I'm 5'5', 140lbs and wear a size 30, and they fit well. I did find them rather long when I first tried them on, but after washing, as you can see in the pics, they are the right length. The boot I'm wearing has a 2" heel so they are perfect with these jeans. The other two pics are without shoes, and I found that the jeans shrunk about 1/2'" so I could possible wear them with a lower heel. They are perfect in the waist and relaxed throughout, but not to the point that they look too big on me. They also feel good when sitting, not binding at the waist. We have a relaxed dress code at work, as long as we are not meeting with clients, so with the fitted sweater this is perfect for work. ... show more

  • Nice denim feel just a bit thin and is NOT curvy girl friendly
I got a size 29 based off the sizing chart and they fit okay. tight around the thighs, gapping in the waist. mid rise which i’m not used to so sitting down has been an experience! the gapping in the back is even worse when sitting down so just be cautious about that. i’m 5’4 and they slightly drag but that might be because they fall lightly because of the gapping on my waist. if u want good price levis then get these! despite what i’ve mentioned, they fit very nice and make my butt look good ... show more
