I was a little nervous about buying these because jeans tend to fit me poorly, but I'm SO glad I did! To preface this review, I'm 5'5" with a 31.5" waist and a 41" hip, so I was solidly between the size 30 and 31. I had to order a 30R because it was the only size that would arrive before I left town for two weeks, but I'm so glad I did! The jeans have plenty of stretch, the denim is soft and comfortable while not being too thin, and they're the darkest black pair of jeans I've ever owned, which is exactly what I was looking for! I was afraid they might be too straight cut to fit my slightly curvy figure, but they fit me like a glove. The inseam is a little long (hits below my ankle bone) so I have to bunch them up around my ankles a bit, but I hardly notice it while wearing them. While the waist is a little snug, it's not uncomfortable. In fact, this might be the only pair of jeans I don't have to wear a belt with! This is an awesome staple for any wardrobe, especially if you're a fan of dressing goth or punk. I'm absolutely ordering three more pairs, because who could resist Levi's for $20? I purchased these because my old pair wore out. I believe the ones I had sold out on Amazon so I went with something similar, same size but darker. The fit is different, the legs aren’t super skinny but the high waist was good. The major issue is the color deposit. My hands were stained just from trying it on, if I keep them they will need a wash before wearing, maybe two.
