  • Crap quality, torn on second wearing.
Second time I wore them they split out the back when I sat down. Not touching anything. Not caught on anything. Just fell apart. Wondering if these weren't seconds or something. Just outside the return window It's 3 months later and the second pair disintegrated. I think this seller sold knock offs or Levi's quality has gone to crap. ... show more

  • Wasn't Impressed
Size: 54W x 34L Color: Navarro (Waterless)
Finding big and tall clothes is always a challenge. Jeans are especially hard for big guys...and add tall to the mix, it's even more of a challenge for larger size. I gave these a shot...they didn't quite fit right...a little too much stretch in the waist and the leg opening was wide (I usually taper mine, so that's not a big issues), however, the issue I'm finding with Levis in general, they are cut shorter than the stated inseam...I didn't' get pictures of measuring the length, but you can see my other reviews for 502s to see they are often up to 2 inches off. Granted, most bigger guys are looking for shorter inseams, but those of us that need longer lengths, 2 inches is a big deal. All in all, these aren't bad. The look better than most of the generic versions you can buy. As we all know, clothes fit each of us different, especially bigger guys. A lot will depend on if you wear your jeans above or below your belly. I wear on my belly and I found these to be a little high in the rise. ... show more

  • There you go again
Size: 48W x 34L Color: Timberwolf Twill
When you buy Levi's online you're rolling the dice. Once again I find a pair a jeans that are comfortable for my Biggly and Tall frame. The pair of Levi 559 stretch have served me well for the past year. So I go to purchase another pair , same size, same style and of course it's too tight. This has happened several times with Amazon suppliers. Either these are knock offs or Levi Strauss has no quality control. Return in progress. ... show more

  • Change an inseam length changes waist
I ordered a size 54 waist, 30 inseam through Amazon's Prime Wardrobe program. The waist fit perfectly but the length was too long. So, I returned those pants and ordered the exact same model of pant in the same waist of 54, but in a 28-in inseam instead of 30-in inseam. What I received did not fit anywhere within 4-in of fitting in the waist. A second pair I ordered of the same size but a different color also was nowhere near to fitting in the waist. I don't understand how the waist can change by more than 4-in just because the inseam is 2-in shorter. I'm very disappointed. Why have Amazon prime wardrobe if it serves no purpose? ... show more

  • Still fit just right, but wear out quicker
Size: 38W x 36L Color: Tumbled Rigid (Waterless)
I've been wearing 559s for almost 20 years at this point. They fit just right for me. I've tried other brands (Lee, Dickies, Carhartt) and none of them are as comfortable or pass the "old man" test. (That is, I put them on, ask my wife if I look like an old man, and if I do I send them back. Lookin' at you, Carhartt.) Unfortunately, they seem to wear out quicker and quicker, even as I become more and more sedentary in my Old Man phase. I used to be able to buy two pairs a year and pretty reliably have them last the entire year without wearing out. Now, they start wearing out almost immediately at the wear points (phone, pocket knife, keys) and by the end of the year I can't go out in public without attracting a crowd of appreciative onlookers and frightened children. ... show more

  • Finally jeans for my fat butt
After years of not being able to find comfortable fitting jeans, I FINALLY have found my ticket! With a very stocky build (fat butt & thick thighs), jeans have always been a challenge. Not only are the 559's very accommodating in the seat & thighs, but the stretch fabric (Novarro & Bebop colors) is extremely comfortable and forgiving in the waist. I love these jeans! ... show more

  • Sizing is way off
Size: 46W x 32L Color: Range (Waterless)
bought these for my husband and he wears a size 46 waist in any other jeans and shorts ive bought him ( walmart, wrangler and even random thrift store finds) and these were 46 waist is way way way too small. Not even close to the same. How on earth can that be so different. Im used to this with womens clothing, really thought mens had it figured out. Guess not. ... show more

  • A dissappointment
Size: 36W x 38L Color: Timberwolf Twill
I'm incredibly disappointed in this purchase. I have a pair of 10 year old Levi's in my closet that still fits, and looks great with no visible wear and team. In less that two years, two years of very limited wear, these jeans have literally fallen apart. One of the belt loops has ripped, the fabric has worn down is several spots, and the fabric is frayed from lord knows what. Yes, the material was thinner than what i was used to - but not by much, and i actually liked the thinner material in the Summer months. I would expect a pair of Old Navy Jeans to last two years, but when you pay less than $20 dollars for a pair of jeans you're getting what you paid for in that case. This was a very disappointing purchase and I fear i'll have to explore other brands for the quality i once could assume was inherent in this brand. ... show more
