I've worn Levis since I was 'boomed'. They are my jeans of choice. I had been wearing 505's of my usual size. Had been. I preferred that closer fit. But a few pairs I've owned in recent years seem to have split near the seam at the bottom of the zipper. So recently, I have been going with the looser-fitting 550's. Less tension on the material. (And no, I don't want a pair of the new part-spandex variety.) They are otherwise quite durable. Wearing a year-old pair today. Retiring an in-otherwise-good-condition pair of split 505's. Just got three new pairs. of 550's. (Cyber pants?) Delivered in two days. These fit as expected. A little loose on the thigh, length is below my ankle when my leg is straight, and above it when I'm sitting with a bent leg. Waist is a little loose, but stays up with my belt.

I like the relaxed fit, not too faded and not too dark. It's a good traditional jean. I do wish it was available with shorter inseam choices. Very durable.

Have a little problem with good fitting levis? 550 Relaxed fit levis are comfortable and give you just a little bit more room wich makes them easier to move around in especially when getting into an awkward position. Been wearing them for years and am very satisfied. not to pricey either.

I had asked the question to other purchasers about whether or not these jeans would fit a woman. I am so so happy to report, that they fit perfect. Levi's website said that their jeans could be worn by either. I took my time, did research and made sure the measurements I used would be compatible with the 550 series. Yeah for me!!! I ended up ordering 2 more pairs in different shades.

I like my jeans loose and comfortable, so these fit the bill (and me!) perfectly. They appear to be well made, as confirmed by my wife who is a seamstress and very picky about how clothes are put together. It's nice to have a reliable source for jeans for the next time I need some.
