My hubby is a very picky, Levi only wearing, man and the style he likes no longer comes in his size (what's what up with that Levi & co???), so I have been buying random styles until we find one he likes. These are bootcut, which is a must, they fit well, look good (from this wife's point of view), but the material is so thin, as a flatbed trucker, he will not be able to wear these to work. These were the same brand and style I wore 60 years ago. The fabric is thinner, but otherwise the quality is the same. On sale these were only twice what I paid in 1963, rather than the outrageous normal price of over $65.

I usually buy this 541 model because it fits my body style well. However, I made a mistake when ordering and did not notice this was a stretch fabric. I am not a big fan of stretchy jeans. I think they are designed to fit a little tighter than normal because the fabric will stretch if needed. I do not like this. However the fabric is slightly thinner and lighter than traditional, which may be a good think on a hot day and/or when you pack it for travel. ... show more

It’s not too tight or too loose in the thigh area and it’s not too tight around the boots. Fits awesome!
