I'm a fat guy. Yeah, I should lose weight, but right now I'm fat. My weight has gone up and down most my life. Mostly up, to be honest. However, this review is about these excellent pants, and not my weight control issues. Most fat guy pants are the worst. They are typically very baggy, and wearing them makes you look like a 8-bit character from an old video game. I had resigned myself to taking pants to the tailor and having them fitted in the legs. Then I found these Levi Big and Tall 541 Jeans online. Woo baby these are fantastic! They are now my go to pair of pants. The material has a slight elasticity to accommodate my girthy middle. The pants have a close, but not too tight fit around the butt and legs. I highly recommend these for fat dudes everywhere. A little pricey perhaps, but my dude, trust me, they're worth it.

I love Levi’s, but apparently one of the 3 pair I received had a torn seam by the zipper only a few hours after light wear and bending. I’ve never had the issue with the same brand and size before. Update: all 4 pair I bought at the same time have torn in the exact same way as pictured. Highly displeased. Do not recommend. Go for the 502 as it's stretchier. I wish the company would refund my money but since ive had them a while without wearing (I wear black jeans every day and never really wear blue jeans) I've worn maybe twice each MAX and the crotch ripped as pictured on all 4 pair. They fit right and I can slide them on without unbuttoning. Purely a defective or ***tty product.

Authentic Levis Pedigree and design Excellence all round! No QA snafus here at all. Fits to a Tee, exactly as described. Perfect blend of fabric/stretch, solid color, nice comfort and room where you need it, generous length as stated. Only thing I would add is they really could still use some more material weight like back-in-the-days original 501s DNA. Doesn’t have to be “raw denim”, but heavier all the same. Otherwise a 100% utility wear homerun for the active man! Hard to go wrong with Levis, the Real-Real!! **UPDATE: Brown true chino color shrunk too much on first wash! Downgrading to 3 stars. Brown true chino pair shrank about 2 inches with one wash-dry cycle, and fabric much too light! Returning to order a size up. Blue [Manzanita subtle] pair held up ok, heavier fabric, but both still too light, becoming less like authentic jeans weight, and more like regular khaki pants fabric quality. Levis should do something about that for sure, can't trade authentic jeans fabric DNA and durability for stretch advantage or "fashion" benefits.

I love these jeans. They have a little give to them when bending over or lifting. The fit it’s perfect for my body type (chunky). I bought different styles, but they don’t all fit the same. I have found that the black acid washed are the best fit for me.They seem to have more stretch. If you find them at the right price, around $30-$38, you can’t beat them.

First pair I ordered were perfect, great fit and I liked the weight of the material and had some stretch to them, so I ordered 4 more pairs in the same size in different colors. I was disappointed in the quality of two of the pairs, The Rigid dragon colors was at least two sizes too small and another color had different size leg lengths (one longer than the other) needless to say I sent them back. The other two that I kept are amazing. It's too bad that quality control didn't catch this problem before selling them. I would give the three pairs that were not defective 5 stars and 0 stars for quality control.

I bought 4 pairs of these and one at a dept store, they all fit different. I got one pair that fit right. They were low riders or too tight, just ridiculous. I noticed they were built in 3 different countries. ITS A SHAME NOT ONE PAIR SAID MADE IN USA. As far as Im concerned the best jeans Ive found for a bigger guy is "Foundry", material is great and fit like a high dollar pair of jeans should fit. LEVI IS PUSHING THEIR PRODUCT WITH THEIR NAME

These pants are usually good to go. I have to wear "dress casual" to work, so these trousers and a tucked in oxford shirt are my go to. They are comfortable enough that I will wear them on my days off, too. The one negative I will say, is that everything I order something from Levi's, it fits just a little bit different than the last item I ordered, even if it was the same item. I think that is the one thing that stores like JC Penny's has over Amazon. They seem to have consistent fit. As usual, prime is the best. I'm a busy person, and the service allows me to cut back on my errands.
