Levi's quality is highly predictable and these are excellent. However Levi's are like any other brand, they have roughly 20 different types of sizes along with variances depending on where they are manufactured. These are spot on for sizing for me. It's incredibly rare that this happens. I may roll the dice and purchase another pair just for this reason. Bottom line: I frequently see boutique jean advertising where they are on-sale for a $100 dollars or more. I was surprised at the thin material these 514's are made of. I have purchased several other Levis 514's and the material was thicker, it may be because this pair with the tan ID logo tag at the waist are stretch. The other 514's I have purchased had the gray ID tag at the waist and were not stretch material. This pair with the tan tag at the waist also taper to the ankle, making them skinnier at the leg opening. I like the color, so I'll keep 'em, thank you. ... show more
