Good Levi jeans, fit is a little big, could order one size down. They shrink after wash and stretch back out in minutes, not a negative. At leg end by shoes is a little small, reminds me of why we wore flared legs in the 70's.

Since the same series or type can vary in its fit, feel, and quality of material with Levis jeans, sometimes buying without physically inspecting them can be a hit-or-miss experience. In the past I even saw a slight difference on same jeans bought at the same distributor (Sears in this example), and even the very same store as they could have been made in either Cambodia or Bangladesh. I had to start checking before I bought any additional pairs to get the better fit. I often found both on the same shelf.

These jeans, bought on Amazon, have the appearance of a cheap product. Made in Egypt. Those who bought the product in the store (premium series) 514 Levis, will be disappointed with the quality of materials and tailoring of this product. The weight of this product is 650 grams versus 738 grams bought in the store. The inner stitching is different from the store (premium series). When you compare them with the usual 514 model (premium), you will see that the front pockets are narrower, and the back ones, on the contrary, are larger than in the premium model. Accordingly, the side seam at the waist is shifted to the center of the pants. Of course, you can wear them ... but there is a feeling of discomfort in the front. And yes, the specific smell of the material remained after the first wash. The material is hard and thinner than regular jeans. I washed them inside out, something like white lint appeared ... probably as a result of paint loss. It is clearly visible on a black background. Addition: After wearing, the denim fabric became more pleasant to the touch and no longer seemed as thin as it did when unpacked.
