Saw a blogger who recommended this and it works great! I have several outfits I can't wear because of noticeable grease stains and this took those away! It does have a strong smell to it but once you wash your clothes it goes away.

I have been using this product for about two decades now and it never fails to get the oil out of clothes. There has been occasions, as when my son worked at a fast food restaurant with lots of grease that I would literally drench his work shirt and let it sit in the sink overnight and the oil would always come out. Had a greens stain that tide to go wouldn’t get out and bought a bottle of Lestoil. Put a little just on the spot and let it sit about 15 minutes and then washed in cold water and hung to dry (don’t want to set the stain permanently by heat drying) and checked the spot..it was gone. This product has saved many of my kids and my own shirts from the trash. Nothing else seemed to get grease stains out and thought I tried everything. Lestoil did the trick! One wash and stains were gone. A little goes a long way. I dab some on the spot then throw it in the wash with regular detergent and wash as normal. That’s it. It does have a pretty strong smell so I wouldn’t use a lot, but you shouldn’t need to anyways. ... show more

Works great at getting oil and other stains out of clothing. Even old set in stains get lifted! My mom used to use this decades ago and I came across this on YouTube once again. I ordered it on AMazon as local stores did not carry it. I used it on a sweatshirt of my husbands and lo and behold! the stain, an old one, came out! We tried to clean the sink and it worked well. Then the bathtub. Man what a shine. Then the tile floor. Again nice and shinny. I would not recommend cleaning the sofa with this product but works great on all the hard surfaces we tried. I like the smell.

Lestoil is one of those cleaners you buy for performance, not the scent. The smell is honestly awful—strong and gas-like, definitely not something you want lingering in the house. That said, it really works. I’ve used it mostly for laundry, and it’s been amazing at getting out tough oil and grease stains that nothing else could touch. I usually apply a small amount directly to the stain before washing, rub it in and it lifts it right out—even on older spots. The smell does wash out with the laundry, thankfully, but I always make sure to store the bottle tightly sealed and away from living areas. ... show more

It's wonderful that we can still find the old classic cleaning agents that are sometimes hard to find in the stores. Lestoil has so many uses but I've always been impressed on how it takes out oil and grease stains better than anything else I've tried. A bottle lasts a long time and hopefully Amazon will continue to sell it when I need a new one in several years! ... show more
