I had some plastic file trays stacked on my desk and over the years they have broke and bent out of shape. I was going to just get more of they same, but they are hard to find for the cheap price they used to be. I got looking around and thought to get a different file tray, then I found these. I did some measurements and found out that if I ordered 3 sets it would fill the area of my desk perfectly since I could split the 3rd set between the other 2 stacks. I put a tape dispenser and a ceramic diffuser on the top part, and it flexed, you could tell it wouldn't take more weight. It didn't have instructions on putting together, but it just goes inside itself. It's kind of odd. A little stark looking, better suited for a modern-style office. Incredibly easy to assemble. Holds and separates the four categories of files that I have, which includes a ream of paper. I like the stand on top, upon which you can place something cute or practical. It doesn't have an envelope holder, so I bought one separately (SRIWATANA Mail Organizer) and hung it onto the letter tray. Perfect! (See photos) ... show more

This tiered shelf is very cute and not difficult to assemble. My only issues were the shelves are nit secured and could easily be broken apart if knocked over and the other issue is that the entire unit appears to be crooked/lopsided. The base sits flat when placed on a desk, the defect appears to be in the upper shelves. Not a huge deal to some but im ocd and notice everything. It still holds paper just fine. ... show more
