Smooth glossy ceramic, no chips or scratches. Comes in a pretty gift box. The Snow Fantasies Snowflake measures 4 inches between the longest tips and 3.5 inches between the shorter points. It's a nice collectible but I wouldn't pay 30 or 40 dollars for it.

I've collected Lenox's annual snowflake ornaments for over 20 years. Their high quality is the same this year as they've been every year. Surprisingly durable even though they're so delicate.
