By choice, this was shipped in its own manufacturer's box, which was smaller than expected. The panel itself is sandwiched between two pieces of hard white styrofoam. The panel in nestled into one piece that is really no thicker than two inches around the edges leaving the recessed portion for the panel itself no thicker than 1.5 inches - maybe less. The second piece is much thicker and held the base pieces, HDMI cable, etc. When opened, put together, then turned on, there was a vertical, hairline, split down the middle right side of the inner section that LED light bled through. Looking closely, you can see that each side of the split was ever-so-slightly disjointed. It's not sure if this was a factory defect or a shipping one. It is sent to Amazon from Lenovo then shipped to the me (customer), so there is a good chance this was carelessly dropped flat on its thinnest side resulting in the panel splitting. Regardless, packaging should be thicker for the monitor and maybe, use the hard, but spongier foam type for better cushioning. It's a shame, as all else worked and looked really good. My first impressions were also that the stand's height adjustment seemed fine, but could easily slide up and down and may, over time, loosen plus monitor controls at bottom seemed clunky to feel for. There was no DisplayPort cable either. I seem to have been unlucky. Consider using Amazon's double boxing, if you think that might better insure all will be intact. ... show more

The colors and sharpness of this monitor are just fantastic. It just looks amazing which is what you'd expect for a gaming monitor but it works great for office work as well given the sharp fonts it can produce. It's bright, crisp and the colors just pop compared to the other 1080p monitor I'm replacing. This monitor is actually slightly smaller than my existing monitor but since it looks so much better I prefer it and have replaced that monitor with this. The refresh rate is equally great, however I'm not sure I can truly tell the difference between 240Hz and my other 180HZ monitor. Still it looks really good and games run smoothly. I'm not much of a fast-paced gamer these days, I prefer strategy and puzzle type games but in my playtime I didn't notice any ghosting or tearing. Just a really great smooth picture running XCom2 at max settings on a Macbook Pro. The stand is one of the best I've used. I have a monitor arm I use full time for my second monitor but to test side by side I first used the stand. It's wonderful, easy to adjust, offers many tilt and rotate features and doesn't wobble at all even when I tried to shake my desk. Comes with thumb screws for mounting it which is also a nice touch, love a tool-less install. My only complaint is that up close the viewing angles are tight. When sitting back in my chair it's not noticeable but if I'm leaning forward, as I tend to do when I focus, the upper corners fade slightly. It's not a big deal but worth calling out. After pushing my stand back and forcing myself to sit further back I don't really notice. The only other downside is that it's a 1080p monitor which most serious gamers are going to look past given the there are 2K monitors just slightly above this price range. Albeit those entry level 2K monitors probably won't compete with the refresh rate and sharpness offered by this monitor. For the price it's an incredible 1080p monitor, a bit more expensive then budget ones out there but the quality is just fantastic. If you're stuck with 1080p or just don't need 2K you really can't go wrong here. ... show more

I found the monitor’s display quality to be consistently strong, with sharp text and vivid colors that look noticeably better than older 1080p panels I’ve used. The brightness and overall clarity stood out, and the higher refresh rate made motion look smooth in games, although I didn’t clearly notice a difference between 240Hz and lower high-refresh monitors I’ve used before. It also handled both gaming and general desktop use without issues, including strategy games where fast response is less critical. The stand was one of the more positive aspects for me. I was able to adjust height, tilt, and rotation easily, and it stayed stable without wobbling during use. Setup was straightforward, and I liked that it didn’t require much effort to position. I did notice that some controls felt less intuitive and that it only supports limited swivel depending on the base design. There are a few trade-offs, as expected of a budget gaming monitor: the viewing angles felt a little narrow, especially when I leaned forward, with some fading at the edges. Another great Lenovo product. Brightness, color quality and refresh rate are very good. No speakers, so sound quality is not rateable. The menu is confusing to use, It's unheard of that I would haave to read the instructions, but I did here. The thin frame looks really good, and the picture is excellent. I like the height adjustment and it works good with display port or hdmi input. Gaming framerates are good and motion looks smooth using it. It will do well with whatever you throw at it.
