Amazing formula. A heaping capful in our 19 ft swimspa (2300 gallons) once a week really makes the water crystal clear. Be sure to run the jets and let the chemicals evaporate (without breathing them) for a few hours after application.

I add it once a week when we aren’t using it or every time we get out. I throw 1 1/2 tablespoons of this in my small 250 gallon spa after we get out and it is at a perfect bromine level the next day. Needed a bunch of bromine at the very beginning to build up a “bank” but it’s all good now. I haven’t added bromine in about a month. It does spike the bromine level a bit right after you put it in so make sure you give it time to level out before getting in. ... show more

I have used a few different brands for my hot tub, and this one is on the lower end as far quality goes. I have found that other brands do a better job and need less. Though this one is more cost effective, I believe that it costs you more in the long run, because you're using higher doses more often. Love that it comes with an “extra” goodie. The sponge boat seems to do its job preventing build up along sides of tub. Great price is why I decided to purchase. My hot tub store I usually get this product from is an hr drive away, and they no longer sell this brand. I am new to hot tubs. I was using shock I purchased at Menards. We have limited options here. I would need to use a clarifier with it. We use our hot tub just about daily. My husband and I mostly. The kids get in too. I used 1 tablespoon about every other day along with a teaspoon of chlorine. Not at the same time. I also used a mineral stick and a scum turtle.
