This 2 Fast 2 Furious LEGO set exceeded expectations in every way. The level of detail in this build is incredible and makes the entire experience feel thoughtful and rewarding from start to finish. The size of the car, the moving pistons, functional steering wheel, rolling motion, opening doors, and liftable hood and trunk truly set this set apart. It is not just something that looks good when finished, but something that is genuinely fun and engaging to build. This build required patience and focus, which made it even more satisfying once completed. It kept hands busy, encouraged problem solving, and gave a real sense of accomplishment with every stage of progress. If you are looking for a LEGO set that offers challenge, quality, and impressive details, this one is absolutely worth buying. Highly recommend for older kids, teens, or adults who enjoy detailed builds. While there were no missing pieces, it would have been helpful if the set included a couple of extra blue Technic friction pins. We had a small oops during the build and had to sacrifice one, which led to a last minute hunt for a replacement. That was definitely a builder error and not a LEGO issue, but a few extras would have been a nice safety net. ... show more

    • A very fun set with lots of pieces
Expensive (as most Lego branded sets are nowadays unfortunately) but VERY cool and fun to put together. My husband worked on it off and on for a couple days so it's definitely a more involved set with several pieces. He enjoyed that a lot. It's pretty big, almost a 1:1 with the image on the big it came in. It was missing a single piece, but he was able to find away around that. Lots of moving pieces, which is very cool. The drift feature is also a nice touch. We got the lighting kit to go with it and it looks very nice fully assembled. If you love cars and extensive lego kits, or need a gift for someone who does, this is a great choice. ... show more

Better build than I thought it was going to be; also very intricate (difficult) build towards the beginning but gets simpler as the car progresses towards the front. The build was fun and turned out to look and function pretty good; the rear of the car was very intricate, and kind of difficult, but I took some time and effort and it turned out really nice. The drifting was cool, though since it is a model (for me) the drifting mechanism isn’t very important to me. I would have preferred some more effort on the looks, though the car does impress and has some great qualities. I would recommend if you like the Skyline or are a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise. ... show more

This might be one of my favorite LEGO builds I’ve ever done. I grew up watching Fast & Furious, so building Brian’s Skyline hit different. Seeing it come together piece by piece was honestly just as fun as displaying it. The detail is unreal — functional drift mode, working suspension, and so many small touches that make it feel like the real car shrunk down. It wasn’t the easiest build, but that’s what made it so satisfying. Definitely a challenge in a good way. My only small complaint — I wish more pieces were printed instead of stickers. But once it’s finished, it looks incredible on display. I added the smaller version next to it for scale, and it really shows how impressive this one is. RIP Paul Walker. Brian’s Skyline will always be iconic. ... show more
