    • A Set to De-thrown the Millennium Falcon?
This is an incredible set, and very deceptive on the size and weight. You are going to need a very large spot on your shelf to store this massive set. Is this set worth the money? If you are a fan of star wars and can afford it, then yes. The set is retiring at the end of the year which means it's about to get much more expensive. Pros: - The way the panels attach are clever and fun. - Engineering, as a whole, has improved dramatically since early UCS, and this set is a glowing example of what's to come in the future. - Full interior with foldable panels. Cons: - This is more of a half-con. All of the top panels sit on only a few single stud pegs, meaning they primarily rely on their own weight and gravity to hold them in place. This is not a play set, so it's not a major issue; you just need to be gentle as your transporting it. - The landing gear are very small in comparison to the rest of the ship. They can, technically, support the full weight of the set, but I'm worried they will give out over time, mainly the rear ones as they come out at an angle. I'd highly recommend attaching a wide base to the bottom to help support the weight. - The chains for the engine are a nightmare. All in all, a wonderful set to assemble and is a very imposing piece on the shelf. In my opinion, this set beats out the "holy grail" UCS millennium falcon in just about every category. ... show more

This set is massive! I don't think there is another set that will ever come close. The playability is unbelievable. Instructions are great. Had no missing pieces. It's durable! Like a tank. Gift value

This is one of my favorite UCS sets to display. Lego nailed the design and build. The razor crest itself is a unique style ship and to see lego recreate that for the UCS collectors in a great way is awesome.

Really a gorgeous set. I’m impressed every single piece was there as I remember pieces missing (or extra) in the past. Lego has come a long way. There are sales on this periodically so look for those, but this one was a blast to build.

Beautiful addition to my collection and a solid build with tons of little extras. I love the ease of removing panels for viewing its insides after the build was finished. They did a really great job on this one. Note on other reviews: some reviews cited damage to their boxes on arrival or shipping without a “cover box” to protect the product box. That didn’t happen with mine. It came shipped in a secondary box that protected it well. On that note, the LEGO boxes were pretty cool too! ... show more
