The build and display Minecraft gift for adults recreates the game’s iconic crafting table. Inside are 5 mini build modules featuring 12 Minecraft biomes, including the Taiga with a dripstone cave, Plains with a village, Ice Spikes with an igloo, Cherry Grove with an abandoned mineshaft, and the Deep Dark with a lush cave. 8 buildable Minecraft figures are also included: Steve, Alex, a skeleton, witch, Creeper, villager, cow and pig. The mini builds and microfigures detach from the main model to enable a variety of display possibilities. Stickers featuring memorable in-game phrases can be added to the front of the Minecraft decoration model. Play and Display Value This is technically a "display set," but the modular nature makes it surprisingly good for play. The Look: The outer shell, designed to look exactly like the iconic Crafting Table, is brilliant and looks fantastic on a shelf—it’s a neat, self-contained cube. Hidden Worlds: The interior is the real star. It features five detachable micro-biomes (including the Deep Dark, Lush Cave, and Cherry Grove). My youngest is obsessed with minecraft. Summer camps, gaming time, the movie, books, he loves it all. This set was meant for much older children but he was laser focused and completed it with minimal help. Clear instructions like usual with LEGO and plenty of detailed pictures. I’ve loved LEGO as a kid, and now I love it even more. I even added a lighting kit to it. Building it was so much fun, it’s like I became a little kid again. Took about 3 ish hours to build I think. It’s pretty big when finished, and I think that’s what makes this set so alive to me. Honestly, this is one of the best LEGO purchases I’ve made before. Money well spent. I hope LEGO keeps going into unknown territory with their sets so we can keep getting amazing sets like this one. ... show more
