I purchased this Van Gogh set for my husbands birthday gift because that’s his favorite artist. It is pricey and a bit smaller than I expected. The quality is great and sturdy. I do think it’s worth the price if you’re a VG lover. I think it’s such a unique gift idea and piece to have. We put it together and enjoyed some wine, it was a lot of fun! This is great for a little at home date night/quality time. The piece is beautiful, gorgeous colors just as you’d expect. My favorite thing is that you can actually hang it on the wall once it’s completed, which I had no idea when I first bought it! I highly recommend for all the VG fans out there. ... show more

I had originally seen this at a Vincent van Gogh exhibit in New York, but I hadn’t been able to purchase it at the time. I finally got it here and I have to say it’s one of my favorite Lego sets. It’s definitely a complicated build because you’re making a flat image 3-D, and that can affect perspective a little bit. Plus the background has so much blue in it, that I started to lose my ability to differentiate between the different shades. But when it was all done, it absolutely does look amazing. I love the little van Gogh figure it comes with the manager position him so it looks like he’s painting the ceiling in front of them.
