My wife and I along with our younger kids built this set in a mere 1,077 minutes spending an average of 90 mins per day. The build follows the movie in chronological order and was fun to relive the moments during this time consuming but fun build. When purchased at the right time for the right price it's great value for the money and a centerpiece of our Christmas decor for decades to come. Pros: Step by step piece by piece instructions made assembly a breeze with our 12 year old doing alot of the work. Also, a few extra lego pieces and came with a lego remover! Cons: some of the bags for each step had little bags so that further delayed organizing the pieces for assembly. Main con was that we didn't get this sooner! If you love the Home Alone movie then this a great buy and you should just add to cart! ... show more

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas as we often build Legos together. As many have said - great detail on this and fun items from th movie. We are about halfway through as it is a big build. Very fun to assemble. Expensive but one of our favorite Lego sets so far.

There’s 2 functional elements but you can’t get to them once you connect it with the bigger part of the house. Also a couple pieces were the wrong color but no big deal. Bought this right after Thanksgiving to work on as a family into the holiday season. I feel like we worked on it every other night or so - a bag at a time. And ya know what...we DIDN'T EVEN FINISH IT! BUT it was so dang fun watching it come together and next year we have the rest of it to complete! We packed it away as is and can't wait to start on it again next holiday season. It's so much fun, just buy it!
