Instructions were easy to follow as always with Lego sets and the completed build looks stunning and well detailed. I got this mainly as a display model, and it really delivers on that front. The finished Bumblebee looks sharp, stands nicely on a shelf, and has a lot more presence than I expected for a 950-piece set. The yellow and black color scheme pops, and the included display plaque gives it that collector feel without taking up too much space. What I liked most is that it is not just a static figure. The articulated joints, blaster, and jetpack make it more interesting to pose, and the switch to vehicle mode is a cool extra rather than a gimmick. It feels made for adults who actually enjoy the build as much as the final result. That said, this is not the kind of set I would rush through.
