My son loves this set so much that he asked for it again for Christmas this year. The first time we built it, it didn’t hold together all that well. The way the roof is built and the way the floor is built leave something to be desired. It fell apart so many times that it all ended up in the massive Lego bin mixed in with the rest of the blocks we own. Went ahead and bought it again because he was so sad about it getting destroyed. The media could not be loaded. Every year out family does a Gingerbread House village, but this year I decided to do something different. We love legos and I thought this would be a great project. It was for the most part. We enjoyed putting it together. It will last longer than a gingerbread house. The one issue is that it is delicate and falls apart easily. I am considering glueing it together at this point. We cannot move it without beginning to fall apart. However, it is very detailed and had plenty of extra parts and a Lego remover for mistakes and such. We added the light kit…bad idea. Practically had to take the whole thing apart and the cords are base are so hard to hide and deal with. All in all a fun project but the lights and hold are less than ideal. ... show more
