Alright to start yes it is a very steep price for the average person but well worth it! It is the best looking Lego set in my collection! Extremely high detail, was not missing any parts in fact lots of spare! It is a display piece though so the smaller stuff on the set is not as durable! It took my the whole lotr trilogy extended edition to complete over the weekend but it was such a fun build with small hidden details here and there, do be warned it’s 3 build books with 40 bags! And sticker decals that are somewhat hard to put on! But it is needed for anyone who love Lego and lotr ... show more

With this kit, I enjoyed assembling all the small pieces. It’s obvious a lot of effort was put into making it look nice. It definitely has a great appearance, though I wish the eye lighted up.
