Great trainset for any age. Easy to setup and use. Lego set is very durable and perfect for kids. Track pieces do come apart a bit to easy but easy to put back together. Makes a great gift for all ages

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew. He already has a Duplo freight train but this set took him to a whole other level. The morning after he got it, he was up at 7 am like Christmas morning building it all by himself. This was totally worth the price. 👍🏼👍🏼

Really great toy. My 3 year old loves it and had no problem learning how to make the train move forward. He is still learning how to lay the tracks so that they make a loop, but he will get there. We have purchased 3 additional sets since this one to make bigger and bigger circuits. I also find it fun to play with it while spending time with my son. We have not used the app since we are trying to minimize any screen time till our children get older. The only complaint I have is that one of the contacts for the battery inside the train was pushed down after changing batteries, and cause the train not to work. I was able to get it back in the right place to make it work again. However, I think I will need to do this each time we change batteries. Not the end of the world, but a bit disappointing since I have come to expect very high quality from Lego. Pros -I can't think of a 3-6 year old who would not love this toy. Fun for adults also to spend time with your kids. -You can buy more sets and build as large as you want -Safe for <1 year olds since there are no piece small enough to choke on (although they may take apart your creation :) ) -Overall, very durable and should last a very long time Cons -Some issues with the contacts for the batteries in the train (fixable, but a bit of an annoyance) -Train is a bit noisy and I wish it made more of a present sound than a buzzing electric motor -A bit pricey, but I think it is worth it for the good quality Lego toys have ... show more
