Firstly when the box arrived the next day, I couldn’t believe how big the box was. Which made this build that much better knowing I getting a large scale model at the end. It’s a 18+ build for sure with a TON of detail, so take your time not to miss a step. It’s very satisfying when it’s complete and looks bad ass on the wall. Mounts very easy takes 2 minutes. I loved building this set, it was super fun. During the build, it's a but breakable, but once you complete the set, it's very sturdy. It has 13 bags total, and comes with 3 minifigures, 1 of which is an exclusive (the joker), as well as batman and Lawrence the goon. If you're a Lego Batman fan, I can't recommend this set enough! It's definitely pricey but worth it. Definitely not meant for toddlers, but I would say anyone above age 12 could enjoy building this set with their parental or guardian figures. Absolutely a bargain at $200. This is a Star Wars UCS level set in size and detail. Really fun and creative build but be warned- this is definitely an 18+ model. The amount of strength needed to push some of the larger plates flat is not something a kid could manage. Plus it’s absolutely MASSIVE which is a huge plus for me but makes it a display piece only. This isn’t something you could pick up and play with. Pretty cool that there’s a built-in wall mount bracket for hanging. You’ll need extra hardware (an anchor) if hanging from drywall, though. Anyone who is a Batman and LEGO fan will love this. Just make sure you have lots of room to display it in an area where you won’t accidentally knock it over! ... show more

I got this LEGO Batman 1989 Batwing set for my son and he loved it. He’s 21 and a total LEGO fiend. He has so many sets and is insanely good at building them. Watching him build this was hilarious and kind of impressive. The Batwing itself looks amazing. It’s detailed, solid, and makes a really cool display piece. He put it on his shelf and it honestly looks like it flew right out of the movie. The Joker minifigure is a fun bonus too. I still like LEGO Technic builds better, but this set was so much fun for him that it didn’t matter. I am more of a Marvel fan, but decided to put together the bat single to complete my Batman collection. It took me a few hours, but it was a ton of fun!!!! The structure is incredibly sturdy, no pieces were missing, and the piece is massive! Definitely worth every penny!
