I actually bought these to hang my boots and it works perfectly! It’s strong enough to hold five pairs of boots and the rubber grips don’t let the boots slip out and don’t leave marks on the boots. This has saved so much space on the shoe rack and floor of my closet!

I can't really see that it is saving much space for my application. I think it would be better for hanging ties. When you turn the hanger to go front to back instead of side to side, it takes up almost just as much space as individual hangers. It is built sturdy, the clips hold tight. The price is good. I just wouldn't use it to hang pants.
