This is a stunning costume that fit very comfortably. I did purchase a crinoline slip for underneath to give it extra body as was recommended by several other purchasers. The only issue I had with it was that at 5'1" I had to tack it up about six inches... not hard, and was definitely worth the time for the fun I had with this costume.

ordered a med/large. I am 5'2" 148lbs and love the thickness of the material. Very well made. Fits perfectly. I am glade I read the reviews and also purchased a hoop petticoat made the dress look amazing. I thought the hoop petticoat I ordered was going to be too big but was just right. I will say like the other reviews, it is still lil bit long,have to pull up to walk. I will be getting it hemed. Wish the hat was better fitting. It will not stay on. Only could wear it for photos. I am very pleased with this outfit.

Loved the costume! The slip on dress is beautifully enhanced with bright ribbons, multi -colored glittered tulle, and and tufted skirt and stands out amongst other costumes. As others have remarked sizing is based on costume measurements. My sizing is around 135+ lbs, 36C top, and height 5' 8". I purchased both small-medium and medium-large. The SM skirt fit perfect but the top was way too tight across the bust and arms. I decided keeping the ML, which did require safety pinning here and there for a better fit. Length of the dress is also long, but again was remedied with the right shoe and petticoat slip. The dress was worn to an outside event which turned into a cold evening. The ML dress size worked perfectly over a long sleeve black top and skinny pants without creating a bulky image and consequently no coat was needed. Because this is a costume, I took note to be careful pulling the dress off and on and had no problems. Even stepped on the skirt a few times, but the dress wasn't torn. Lastly, I thought the hat and veil worked well with costume, but the hat fell off several times. Hair-pins or combs attached to the hat would have helped keep it intact, especially when a breeze swept in the night air. I received many smiling compliments on the costume and will definitely wear again.

This is a cute costume! I figured it would be thin and tacky but it’s not. The hat has a veil that goes all around. I ordered a small/medium and it fits just right. Any smaller and it would be too tight. Very flattering. I also ordered a curly blonde wig ($20) and a hoop petticoat for underneath to fill out the skirt. Also gloves, a wand, necklace, fingernails. I got lots of compliments. I’m pleased with this purchase.

This is the first time I have dressed up in a long time so I wanted to do it right. This witch costume was the perfect choice. It actually made me feel quite pretty despite the fact that it was super itchy and too long for me! I am 5'5" and with wedges and a hoop skirt on, I still had to lift the dress to walk. The hat really could use some sort of elastic or hair combs because it slips off very easily. Had I had more time I would have been able to attach my own, but instead I used safety pins to pin it to my wig! Haha. I wouldn't recommend that method. :) I do wish that there was less glitter on this costume because it is now all over my vehicle and closet, but that's a small price to pay for a mom to feel pretty and comfortable on Halloween. Oh, and I got a ton of compliments from adults and lots of attention from little kids. I guess they thought I was a good witch!

This costume is pretty and fits as expected. I am 5'5" and weigh 148 lbs. Bra size 36 C. I'm a pretty average girl and purchased size M/L. It fits well with some breathing room just as I had hoped. The reason for the 4 stars and why I don't "love it", is simply that the material that is hanging off the sleeves is scratchy and unbelievably itchy. I will be cutting it off for sure and don't think it will take away from the overall look of the costume if I do. My skin will thank me later! LOL I'll add a picture later. I purchased a long petticoat to go under this for added vavoom poof and glad I did. I wish there was a way to ship these costumes without smashing the hat so much but I know that is just my wishful thinking and don't want the product price to increase so will have to be content. :)
