My search is over! My old jeans are worn out, so it was time to start the search. I've been ordering and returning plus-size jeans until my head spun. The main problem with the jeans is that they were all too big in the thighs and butt. Manufacturers must learn that not all plus-size women have "Saddlebags" and huge butts! Every pair I tried, from major name manufacturers, looked like I was wearing Jodpurs! I am not kidding in the least! They were saggy & big in the butt and thigh. I'm 5'6" and weigh 200 lbs, but I am evenly proportioned, meaning I have "Extra" all over, not just in a few places! Well, I have finally found jeans that are pretty much cut and fit as they should be. I gave up the plus-size search and bought Lee 18 regulars. They fit much better, however, being straight leg jeans, they shouldn't have any extra fabric in "THAT" area, but they do, but just a wee. It's not enough to be noticeable, but I know it's there, but I'll continue to buy and wear 18 reg. Lee jeans until I fit into Lee16s!

I love these jeans. . .perfect fit for my size 12. . .the high waistband makes me feel taller somehow. But I'm wondering why the waistband had to be thick-ish and heavy-ish. There's also a bit of extra room on the outside of the thigh which is not necessary. Almost jodhpur-like. It's just a tad, so not bothersome. I was used to wearing skinny jeans. ..decided I was too old for those. . .so I'm probably being overly critical. I only mention it hoping the mfr will take the comments into consideration. I also bought the Legendary High Rise Mom Jean, which has a regular waistband, i.e., not thick or heavy. Both jeans are great if you're ready to get rid of your skinnies.

These jeans are very stretchy and comfortable; I practically live in mine. The mid-rise waistband hits just below my waist and rides comfortably on my hips. The flexible waistband hugs your body for a No Gap fit. Love that. If you're in-between sizes, go smaller. These jeans are stretchy and run big. My hip measurement is 39.5". Size 8 is supposedly for hips 38.5" - 39" and size 8 fits me better than size 10.. These jeans are not really straight leg. As other reviewers have noted (see others' photos), the thighs are shaped for thunder thighs! I had to take in a good 2" on each side seam of the size 10 pairs to make them "straight" legs. I needed to alter the size 8 pairs, too, There is plenty of extra fabric in the front around the zipper in the crotch area; too much I think. They feel really baggy in front on me, but they don't look as baggy as they feel. And they are comfortable when seated. They do not cut. If you're looking for a comfy pair of jeans, give these a try.

I wanted a pair of jeans that would be comfortable for a senior citizen like myself. Now days mostly all you see are skinny jeans. I wanted something that was comfortable but the waste isn't that comfortable and the seam down the middle of the back is so thick and unfortunately, you'd think you sat on something. I really wanted a pair of Lee Rider Relaxed fit jeans - they're well made but not that comfortable, I 'm really disappointed!

Very comfortable! I also bought this pair in black and they were tighter and not as comfortable. There may be some inconsistencies in manufacturing. But I would try another pair for sure because they are inexpensive and if they fit they are super comfy.
