I am 5'6", 193lbs, usually a size 14 in pants. I have a smaller waist with a big butt and thighs. I bought a 14 regular, which are about an inch too long in sneakers but perfect in anything with a heel. The denim is thick enough not to show a panty line and stretchy enough to be comfortable. They're very flattering and the sizing was spot on in the waistband (which I am absolutely in LOVE with - so comfy). Size 12. I am 5' 6" and short waisted. These pants are long on me, which I like. They're stretchy and really comfortable. I do NOT have a small waist, but need to wear a belt with these. These are the most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. The fit is perfect at a size 12 and the length is great for me at 5'7". The darker blue makes them look a little dressier than your typical jeans. My only complaint is that they sit below the waist and not at the waist. I'm very hippy and I feel like they are falling down even though they aren't. I wish they made this exact style in a version that comes to your waist. Then they would be the perfect jeans for me. I typically have a hard time finding comfortable and well fitting jeans. This pair is both of those! The quality of the material is divine; think in the right places and stretchy in the others. I love the way they hug my curves but don't accentuate them. The length is perfect! The ONLY thing I'd criticize is the depth of the pockets which is something inherently an issue with women's clothing. While it fits my pants Chap Stick and maaaaybe a hair tie or 2, there's no room for anything else, my phone can squeeze into the rear pocket but it sticks up further than I'd like. I’m sending these back and have ordered a size larger. I don’t usually wear Lee but my husband loves their Extreme Motion line and ordered me this ladies bootcut. I absolutely love them, great stretch, very soft fabric and nice fitting on legs. I am one of many who are trying to lose some of this weight. I just barely couldn’t get them buttoned at the waist. These are well-made, great looking, comfortable jeans! They fitter tighter than I expected, but that is because of the extra spandex. They still are very comfortable, and look great on! I love the boot cut too.
