I like the jeans overall. I'm 5'4 with a 28 inseam and the length is perfect. I typically wear a 3x or 22/24 in the majority of my clothes. Recommended size on Amazon was 24 so that's what I bought. They fit well in length, thigh, and butt. However, I have a big tummy and I cannot button the jeans. I can zip them about half way and that's it so they are a little too small around my waist. First...the facts. I ordered an 18 (and received an 18W). I am a 5' 6" ample mature grandma of 192 pounds. While I used to have a trim hour glass figure, my sands have definitely shifted as I've matured to where I am more apple than hour. My waist is 37 at narrowest but close to 38-39 when I take in some apple. My hips are 44 to 45. My thighs are muscular (I walk a lot). I LOVE these relax fit jeans. The waist is a bit loose, but when I sit it shifts and allows me ample room in the seat...something I struggle with a lot of jeans when sitting...binding in waist and seat when sitting. The thighs are also roomy (though I could even allow a bit more room) and the material so soft that I have no binding on achy joints while moving or sitting (which I do for long periods as I sit a lot in my work). They feel like butter on they are so soft. Edited to add: these jeans mold to you throughout the day and almost feel weightless. I came back and bought 2 more 18W...all three made in Egypt...and one identical to the first pair in fit, slightly loose at waist, while the third is an exact fit in waist, thigh, and rise. Waist good. Length good. Color good. Belly smoothed good. But...... Legs have too much room in thighs...and I have good size thighs. They have a pooch that sticks out the side of each leg.

The quality is nice/durable and as expected but the fit is oddly too big in the back but fine in the front, like I can pinch an excess amount of the waistband in the back, making my ass spill out of the back unless I pull them up every 10 minutes to the point of camel toe in the front. My shirts are long enough that this isn't a major issue but it's a bit annoying. Fit great everywhere else though, and would probably be fine if I were the type of person to wear a belt.
