I must admit I was very hesitant about purchasing these jeans because I’ve had so much trouble finding jeans that worked for me. I am far from petite:-)! Even the ones from specialty stores that cost nearly $100 which on a fixed income I can no longer afford. I did the try then buy option that Amazon offers and I figured the worst that could happen would be to return all of them. I ordered a pair from a well-known brand a two pair of these Lee brand. I put the well-known brand on first and although they fit okay around waist and hip they were at least 6 inches too long. I am able to sew so I thought, okay I can make these work. I’m 5’7”. Next I tried on these Lee jeans and oh my goodness. They fit perfectly: length, soft, and very comfortable. That was the blue pair and I thought there’s no way the black pair is going to fit as comfortably as the blue. Well, what a pleasant surprise. The black were just as soft and comfy as the blue ones. I decided to send back the pair I would have to shorten (plus they were more expensive!). Since I was down to zero long-leg jeans (I much prefer wearing knee-length), I ordered two more pair of the blue color and they too fit perfectly. I hope these jeans work out well for you too. They are the softest blue Jean material and a perfect fit. But like another buyer said they have a smell that won’t go away. I hope after a few more washings it disappears. UPDATE : The zipper pull is not the sturdiest. I’ve bought four pairs of these jeans now so I obviously like them. That being said you have to be careful with the zipper pull each time, because it feels like it’s going break off sideways when you pull the zipper up. It is consistent on each pair. I must have a short rise and these pants fit me well. The material is medium weight denim, soft and not too stiff. They wash well and do not shrink. I will buy another pair.

Always liked Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, I wear 24, they fit nice. Not to long. I'm 5'3 I ordered a 2nd pair. Great for work or night out, black is a true black. Wash nice, I also ordered blue, can't beat 12 to 14.00 for name brand jeans

I am 5'11" tall. I purchased a size 20 long. These "mid rise" jeans come up to my waist. I have always worn a long or tall size in pants. These are so long I could hem them at least an inch and they would still be long. Because I spilled something on myself when I tried them on, I am stuck with them.
