After reading the reviews, I ordered up a size in the Black, and I am glad I did. I ordered a size 6 in the Black, and a 4 in the "Renegade." Other than the variation in sizing between the colors - I do believe these are true to size for the most part. My measurements correspond with their size chart. I am 5'4," hourglass shape, and I bought the regular length. Length is great! I like my jeans on the longer side to wear with boots/heels. Waist fits very well - slightly higher in the back and will not show your underwear when you sit down, but dips a little in the front to just below the belly button - which is great! I hate "high waist" jeans, and these are a true, contoured waist, "mid rise" fit. Black pair: As others have noted, the Black color is smaller than the other colors. Definitely fits a good 1/2 size smaller than the "Renegade" color. Material also feels quite different. They do collect lint, and are not a true jean material. However, they look like black jeans, and the color is a true, rich black. Overall, I'm happy! Just keep a lint roller handy! I ordered up a size in the Black, and I'm glad I did. I could probably have squeezed into the 4, but who wants to be strangled by their jeans?! Renegade pair: Fit true to size and feel more like jean material than the Black pair. I do not think this color/fabric will collect lint the way the Black ones do. They do have whiskering - which is not my preference - but it's not obnoxiously aggressive. Overall, great fit, comfortable, and I appreciate the flex in the waist. Nice boot cut fit - slim through hip/thigh, and flares out just below the knee.

I have always hated trying on jeans. My waist is much smaller than my hips and butt so it's almost impossible to find a comfortable fit. I have to buy a bigger size to fit my hips then wind up with a huge gap in the back of my waist. These jeans were as close to a perfect fit as I've found in a long time. They are just a little long, but they are a good length with boots. I would buy them again!

When I go shopping for jeans I will usually try on between 5 & 8 different brands. Maybe I’ll buy one. So ordering jeans online is a roll of the dice. I hit the jackpot with these Lee jeans. I bought my usual size, they fit perfectly and they come in lengths! My 5’1” frame is so happy that I don’t have to have these altered. The waistband is very comfortable and not too low, not too high. I will definitely buy again.

I've gained some wight over the past year, and I'd given up on jeans almost entirely until i tried these. The only jeans i have that fit. They are soft yet sturdy, snug yet not restricting. They stretch but hold their shape. Long but not too long for my 5'7" legs. I am in love.

I am a square shaped person. My waist is wide and I don't have a prominant butt so my pants frequently fall. Constanatly having to pull my pants up especially if the thigh is too tight. It pulls my pants right off. These pants, the flex motion ones, they stay up on my waist. There is some sort of thicker band on the inside, not visible on the outside of the jean. Not sure how but it keeps my pants up. They are comfortable and have not shrunk in a noticeable way in 4 washings. The jean material is nice and thick, they feel like good quality jeans

These are nice jeans and very comfortable due to the stretch in the waist. If you're like me and don't like to wear a belt, aware that the stretch can cause these to slide when you bend, giving you a bit of exposure. This can be resolved by wearing a belt or being careful when you bend over.

Great jeans for the price. Super comfortable and stretchy. I would say they might be a little long- I am tall so I don't mind. These are not tight fitting, but don't look sloppy. Considering ordering one size down from other brands if you don't usually buy Lee. They tend to run on the bigger size. If you normal size is a tad big, then I would order one size down.
