My last pair of jeans gave way after 10 years of service. They were a pair of Levi's; durable but not the most comfortable. They are so stretchy that they don't even seem like jean material, they're more like stretchy sweatpants. There is so much give in the waistband that you could have two Thanksgiving meals and have room to spare. (Do not try at home) They're not baggy-looking however, the fabric kind of conforms to your body without being skin-tight. Overall the fit is awesome for someone with average-sized legs. If you're going for a more skinny fit you might have to try another style.

I got tired of inhaling and pulling hard in opposite directions. So, I ordered a couple of pair of those $120 stretch jeans that you may have heard about on the radio as being the best jeans ever!! Unfortunately, those were going to take about 10 days to get to me and I needed them 4 days later for a cycling trip. Amazon Prime to the rescue at $40ish with 2-day delivery. Got them as scheduled and tried them on. Felt great and a perfect fit. Wore them the whole cycling trip when not cycling (although these would work perfectly fine for 2-4 hour cycling trips. I need the extra padding of cycling short Chamois when taking longer trips). Got back home and the $120 jeans were waiting. Tried them on and I like these Lee jeans better. Sent the $120 jeans back to their owner. A couple of caveats: 1) These are REALLY stretchy like 2-4" of extra give. If you don't like lots of stretch, these may not be for you; 2) Because they are REALLY stretchy, they do not sit as securely on your hips as "regular" cotton denim jeans and you will need a belt to help keep them riding where they are supposed to ride. Along that vein, these jeans have an extra elastic band along the waist to help minimize this issue. The $120 jeans did NOT have a similar strip and therefore the problem was much more pronounced on the $120 jeans; 3) Frankly, I thought these were better versions of the $120 jeans at a much cheaper price. I took great care in comparing fabric compositions between these and the $120 versions trying to get the same (or as close as I could get) fabric compositions as the expensive jeans but in the Lee brand. I also tried a Lee variant with different fabric construction. I liked those too but these were better. The secret from my perspective is to get a Lee style with 2-3% elastine in the fabric (as compared to spandex). That was the closest match to the expensive jeans. I have completely replaced my cotton denim jean inventory with these jean. So, yeah, I really like them. Way more comfortable and flexible than the traditional all cotton denim jeans.

Im built like a 5'8" world's strongest man contestant (thick but in shape) and the fit and flexibility are unreal on these things. So good. Bottom line is I love them. However... I'm confused on the product I received, as what I ordered was athletic fit. All of the tags on the jeans reference athletic fit, but the comfort waistband actually used in the jeans says straight leg tapered fit, which I believe is another fit style offered. I don't know which ones wrong, but they work and feel great so they get almost five stars since I'm happy but confused. Going to order another pair to see what the deal is.

Best jeans you can buy, very stylish and the value of how comfortable they are cannot be understated. The fit in the legs of the athletic cut is also much better than the standard Lee extreme motion jeans which tend to sit much closer on the legs and tighter in the crotch. Take away is that these jeans are the perfect marriage between authentic looking jeans and comfort. I intend to buy every color but the Xander is very sharp, all in all you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

I have the Mega and Zander colors. The fabrics feel very different. Mega feel soft and broken in directly out of the package. My pair also fits a bit larger than the Zander pair. I find I'm grabbing the Mega pair nearly everyday. They are very comfortable and casual. The Zander pair are a great dark blue and can be dressed up nicely. The fabric on my pair is a bit scratchy -- when compared to the Mega fabric. I have yet to wash them so that might help a bit. Both colors have great stretch that I really enjoy. The athletic cut has a nice rise that is more comfortable than most of my other jeans. For the price, these are wonderful.

I recommend that you order multiple pairs and keep the one you want. I ordered a pair of these pants (42x30) in the Zander color and absolutely loved them!! Fantastic across every measure. Then I ordered a second pair. There were different across every dimension but I had already removed all the tags so couldn't send them back. The color is different. The leg openings on the second pair were a full 3/4 inches wider than on the first pair. At the knees the legs were 1/2 inch wider. And the worst part was they were a full 1.5 inches longer than the first pair!! And it wasn't a mistake and I somehow got sent the wrong pair. The tags match sizes and even the model number codes on the tags are the same. I honestly don't know what is going on here. These pants are completely different. I love the first pair but the second pair do not fit and I do not like them. I'm planning on ordering a couple more pairs just to see if I can get another pair like the first ones. If not I will send them back. If so I will probably keep them.
