This line of jeans is perfect for someone like me. Long time athlete with recent permanent injuries. These pants fit me everywhere just right, and if they didn't, the stretchy material and waistband have me covered. I would think anyone with a hernia or sciatica would love these. I no longer have the intense pressure from either condition while I"m wearing jeans that look great. That's another thing. I've seen elastic waistband pants before that look like I need to be 20 years older to wear them...but these look great. And the stretchy fabric around the lags is super lightweight, but firm enough to keep everything together all day. I read that they have some extra pouch area in the crotch, so I tried out the slim straight, but that cut is a bit too tight on my friends. So I'm sticking with the Straight Taper and the Athletic Taper. My own gripe is that some of the colors I want to get never seem to be in stock. But that's a nice problem to have. ... show more

I bought the slim fit version of these jeans last year, so I was excited to try these. I used Prime Try Before You Buy program, which is amazing. The denim is so soft and the extreme motion flex in the jeans are really good. The black color is solid! I ordered a 34x34 at 6ft. I bought a pair of these for an event. Now I've bought several pairs of extreme motion jeans, khakis and shorts. These are by far the best pants for a big guy like myself A ton of flex/stretch, lots of extra room built into the crotch, and flexible waistband. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been a jeans snob my whole life only buying $100 jeans that go out of style after a couple of years. Now that I’m old (mid 40’s) I feel stupid trying to fit into skinny jeans or high water jeans with loafers. Which leaves me trying to find jeans that don’t look super baggy or just horribly cut straight legged jeans. So for the first time since 2nd grade I bought a pair of Lees (and yes my mom bought the jeans in 2nd grade) and they fit perfect! Not too skinny, not too baggy, not bell bottoms or high water. I love these pants, they are my new go-to everyday pants for work. They have an awesome waist band on the inside, and the gusset only normally comes on expensive pants like Prana (which I paid $$$ for years because they were the only pants to have that feature) The only negative thing I can say, is that the very back belt loop has a rather large bump in it, and when I lay down to stretch, I can definitely feel it, beyond that, they are comfortable, sturdy, and easy to move in, at the right price.
