I'm not sure how the fabric's going to wear for me as a tradesman. However, at this price I can afford them to be a little bit less robust. These things sure are comfortable. And because of the stretch fit I look really good in them. The material is a little thin compared to old style jeans. however, compared to other genes in this stretch style material they are a little thicker than some I have tried on. These are a little low on the waist, which I like. And while they have a stretch material they aren't binding me anywhere I don't want to be. zipper is medium wieght. stiching is good. front pocket will fit a Samsung s23u and because of the stretch fit does not hinder my movement. This is a very comfortable jeans. The elastic waits is wonderfully comfortable. the fabric is thick and very soft and it feels like the dress pants. the bottom of this pants has a wonderful design as show in picture. It gave a very comfortable feeling for seating a long time. It is a great pair of jean for travel by air or driving. Everyone should buy this jean from Lee for comfort and looks. Comfortable, well made trousers at a great price. Very stretchy and soft fabric. They sit lower on my waist than I prefer but that’s not a dealbreaker with so many other pluses. I’m 5’10” about 180# and the W36/L32 was a good fit if a tad long (L30 would be too short). I washed and tumbled dried them which took about an inch off the length but didn’t make them tighter overall so that ended up perfect. After another type jean discontinued their stretch jeans, it's been about 3 years since I could find another comfortable jean that fit. (I never understand why companies discontinue the best selling items.) All the stretch jeans were close to a hundred dollars, and I would not pay it. Believe it or not, this standard jean company really hit the mark. They stretch more! than the stretch pair I had, fit snug without being a thin spandex fit...and the waist is a great quality stretch...along with the good stretch all the way down the jeans...finally, an affordable stretch jean.
