This regular straight fit is now considerably my choice. I purchased a pair of Straight Fit Tapered leg which is more like Relaxed/Loose fit. If you want them to fit in the seat, hips, and crotch, this Regular Straight Fit is it. For comfortable casual wear the fabric is fine. If you want working, athletic, or something to last a long time, I would recommend the traditional heavy 100% cotton made in USA, at twice the price. The fit should be the same. My boyfriend is very hard on his jeans and works as a butcher. My dad recommended these jeans. The crotch always splits on his previous jeans. These are through and through the stitching on the private is heavy duty there stretchy have elastic waste band for extra comfort! I was a bit salty at Lee for discontinuing the L342 jean, since I'd owned north of a dozen pair over the years and really enjoyed being able to simply choose my size and color whenever I needed a new pair. Particularly when their naming schema makes it difficult (for me) to easily find the particular fit I'm looking for without a part number. But these fit very close, the biggest difference being slightly more room in the hip and leg (at least prior to first washing). Mostly I'm just glad I was able to avoid going into a store and trying on every variation from what should be called "women's leggings" fit through "it's 1994 do you know where your skateboard is?" and everything in between. I'd rather get an unnecessary root canal. TL,DR; if you liked L342, it sat somewhere between this Extreme Motion Regular Straight and the Extreme Motion Regular Straight Taper for fit. Buy a dozen before they decide to discontinue these and reshuffle the same string of words on a new line again. ... show more
