I usually wear a 46 waist in another brand. These are 54". The fit is great, and they are very comfortable . I wear my pants waist up around my gut. I had my wife run a tape measure around my gut where the pants sit and it measures 58". These do not look like stretch pants at all. I bought a pair of these based on need, price, and reviews... I'm really pleased with the comfort and look of these cargo pants. While they are cargo pants with the benefit of the typical side pockets, the material and stitching is very clean and smooth... so much so that they'll work for semi-casual slacks for in-office work days. The stretchy material provides enough flexibility to go hiking, climbing, camping without being tight in the seat, legs, etc... There is a flexible inner waist band that is also useful in helping to keep shirts tucked in, but without binding or sticking. They've been a pleasant surprise, especially for the price (compared to brands like Duluth, Boulder Creek, and Eddie Bauer). I plan on getting a couple more pairs. Give'em a try! ... show more
