I like the fact that these designed for a wide range of vehicles and applications including trucks, ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, trailers, motorcycles, tractors, and boats. The lighting pattern for these is primarily a spot beam, surrounded by a lighter flood pattern. Surprisingly, the spot throws much farther than I expected. They could be used as driving lights on the front bumper if properly aimed to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. However, these are not SAE or DOT approved. The light is bright white and quite intense, making it difficult to look at directly. I wouldn’t recommend them for forward-facing bumper off-road lights, as I’m unsure how well the lens will hold up over time. For illuminating a work area, they will suffice, but since they are more of a spot pattern, they’re not the best choice for general work lighting. They would make a good backup light. You get what you pay for. These are basic, no-frills lights. They come with about eight inches of wiring and a mount. Connectors, splices, wires, and switches are your responsibility. Installation requires basic tools, but it’s important to have proper wire strippers and crimpers to ensure durable, reliable connections. I don’t deduct any stars for this, as at $21, you shouldn’t expect more.
