FYI you will need an electrician to run a recessed outlet behind the mirror make sure it’s recessed so you have clearance for the plug a standard outlet won’t allow you to plug in and the mirror to sit flush against the wall. The actual mounting was easy. Stud finder and leveler to mark where you want it. Only con I will say that is an easy fix is that they supply you with 4 sheet rock anchors and screws. This mirror in my opinion was a little to heavy for that I drilled an additional whole in the cleat center and added a screw straight into the stud and used toggle bolts for the outter two holes for extra security other than that the wifey loves the new mirror. First, and most importantly, the mirrors (we bought two) look amazing in our bathrooms. There were easy to hang and the buttons work just fine. I was a little suspicious about the packaging when I got them because the boxes were a bit worn and torn. But I was happy to see the mirrors were intact when I opened them. We hung both of them in less than an hour, even with making sure they were level and anchored properly. Then I noticed a blemish in the top right corner of the one in my guest bath. It wasn't horrible. But for the price, I decided to initiate an EXCHANGE. I didn't want my money back. I wanted a replacement mirror because I like them so much. Amazon, in true form, immediately initiated an exchange. I needed the new box to pack the blemished mirror to send back. I waited just a few days and the replacement arrived. However, I knew immediately when I touched the box that the mirror had shattered at some point during delivery. I contacted Amazon and chatted online with someone and explained my situation. They said there was no availability for an exchange, but I could return (both) mirrors for a refund. I didn't want a refund. So, I returned the smashed mirror and will simply keep the blemished one. As you can see in the photo, it's not that bad. UPDATE - The seller reached out to me directly without solicitation after reading my review and offered to make thing right due to the blemish. I think that is great customer service in my book. Thank you Awandee!

This is not a shatterproof mirror. The mirror is beautiful, we loved the lighting and functionality. It was packaged well. However, twice while trying to install the glass shattered, see pictures. We took the mirror out of the package, installed the wall mounts and in preparation for lifting the mirror onto the wall, sat the mirror on the packaging foam, it touched the tile (not bumped, just touch) and the entire mirror shattered. Luckily we had not removed the protective glass cover and the pieces mostly stayed in place.

The perimeter light is nice and bright, but the light is exactly that, on the perimeter. The light is not shinning on you necessarily. It’s likely that the larger the mirror, the less light is directed at you. I don’t spend much time in front of a mirror, however the wife does. She has been commenting on the indirect light. I may have to install a light over the mirror yet. We like the anti-fog feature. It’s in the center of the mirror, not the entire piece of glass. It was easy to hang. Don’t count on detailed installation instructions.

We were nervous at first about this purchase being that this mirror is lengthy we were worried about shipping, and if it would deliver as it stated. This mirror is superior as it is nice to have three different light settings from daylight bright, room bright, and warm bright. The dimming function is intuitive. There are only three light options but you do have to tap the light button to find the setting that you want each time you turn the unit on but the fact that this mirror has lights around it and is back lit with LED is a win for us. We needed to have this professionally installed as we previously had a flat mirror that originally came with the unit. If you are looking to install this you may want to consider budgeting for an electrician as we had to move the current Standard bathroom light that was rectangular… completely and move the power supply down in order for us to connect this mirror. So well worth it as you can see pictured it adds a very nice touch to our bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised of how this was delivered… arrived on a specialized truck with two people who carefully placed it by the door (of course this is relative to different regions but for us we had a good delivery). Overall we’re very happy with our mirror.

I just recently purchased this mirror because of the fantastic reviews. The shipping was great and came in without any issues and had a plastic film over it.. but I was working on the install over the weekend. I left the film on it while doing the install, but was not connected to power.. after the install was finish I remove the film and noticed that this mirror was like a Funhouse mirror and disturbed the images. I need to call customer service and see what my options are. I'll keep you posted. Update 02/18/23 and rating change I contacted customer support and they were extremely helpful and replaced my mirror few of charge. My daughter absolutely love the mirror and we are happy .. thank you
